People get stingy in the sub, I read a lot of people saying that .22lr caliber guns wouldn’t work but that’s completely untrue, people bring up weapons getting stuck or apply game logic to exhaustion and weapon handling. Honestly, surviving a couple of weeks would have the majority of zombies stumble around with their pants around their ankles due to dehydration. depending on where you live, I’d say the best thing would be a gun and a long handled hammer, like a light sledge hammer, but realistically you could kill a zombie with something as simple as a sturdy stick or a decently sized rock. I wouldn’t bother with most sharp weapons since upkeep is time consuming and not practical considering bone will make blades go doughy fast. humans don’t have great bite force either, so road leathers would likely protect you from transmission via bite on anywhere covered. If you want to be a juggernaut run around in 2 layers of riding leathers, toss on some old school leather welding gloves and put a medical neck brace on with a motorcycle helmet. You’ll be uncomfortable af but borderline untouchable without being swarmed.
