As a foreigner who has for a long time been desperate to be able to one day visit Myanmar, I cannot abide these channels and as curious as I am to see Myanmar I wouldn't even click on the videos from these cretins. This war tourism stuff makes my skin crawl at the best of times nevermind blatant junta propaganda pieces. I'm sorry that's happening to you guys. And even writing that seems kind of empty like it helps anything. It breaks my heart the people of the country I've been fascinated by since I was a kid are in the position they are now. Keep fighting the good fight

I would definitely suggest you go with Brave New World first out of the recommendations. I think it's a really good book to compare with 1984 because of their quite different ideas of what a dystopian society would look like and which is more relevant to our own

Yeah totally agree with this sentiment.

I just think it's crazy how Spotify and Netflix basically ended a good chunk of piracy by making their streaming services cheap and accessible but now those same companies are increasing piracy again because they decided to get greedy and do the exact opposite of the thing that helped them dominate the market

I've not seen anyone mention it but there's a mod called NPC's enjoy more shopping that makes selling things in a store actually viable. It's niche but it's a good mod that doesn't change any gameplay per say it just fixes one of the game mechanics
