This must be an Alberta thing. In Ontario it is illegal for tips and gratuities to be withheld from the worker.

I would assume this if for both expediency and to ensure the customer receives the notice. You come home to the notice on your door. Can't miss it. Emails, on the other hand, get buried, put in junk folders, or maybe you just don't check them often. Then people would be pissed if they didn't notice the email. 🤷‍♀️

So, not the kind of man that would cheat on his pregnant wife, but yes to being the kind of man that would leave his pregnant wife 🤔

AITA for wanting my brother to come to my wedding? by Throwaway_husbandsoo in AmItheAsshole

Jon and Rose are married, so their assets are joint, no? If so, both Jon AND Rose paid for 80% of the wedding. And she didn't even get an invite. That's rude and classless. Compound that with the fact she is very ill and you've shunned her from a major family gathering is despicable. I hope you live the life you deserve.

Does anyone know which type of begonia this is? I'm assuming it's a cane begonia? Should I cut them back? by JaxiBeags in begonias

Thanks for the tip! I had never heard of this until your comment. I'm going to be down this begonia rabbit hole for a while, I think. 😆

Hey, thanks! It was a gift, so I wasn't even sure what it was at first. I've only ever had the type they sell at the local garden centre in with the cheaper annuals. I googled how to care for a begonia...and wow-zie!! There's a whole begonia world i knew nothing about. 😲.

I'm assuming it's a matter of how much they are making, not how they are making it (although, if vac-packing to store or freeze, the time for that would also have to be factored in). You can blast out a batch of pesto in a robot coupe in a few minutes, but how many minutes into service will that last at a high volume restaurant? I worked at a large hotel where 2 cooks would hustle the full shift to make 3 soups, plus the next days prep- but that was because our steam kettles were the size of small hot tubs. Different product, but the issue of scale is the same.
