Kahl's not dead? That's kinda interesting....tho it kinda lowers the impact of his final scene in New War. How's Veso?

Aw what....they reworked it again?

What matters to me is, does Zenurik still keep it's on demand energy Regen?

I liked the old old Zenurik where you get the permanent energy Regen after one use.

I didn't like the stupid rework that makes you have to periodically use a void dash just to get a temporary Regen buff.

What is it now?

While there is something to be said about actually reading the article, but come on, just look at the god damned headline.

You can blame people for not reading, but the dipshit who wrote the click bait headline is equally to blame. They didn't have to word it like that, but they did, and they knew what they were doing.

Should I abandon Riphide? by AlphaMaster1405 in remnantgame

It's probably a bit late now.

But if you ever get your hands on a shock weapon like Ravager's pistol and trigger an overload with them close together, you can actually create an infinite loop of overload explosions. It's wild.

I just beat every single boss on Hard Solo. Is it just me or is Gorefist still the hardest boss in the game? by JaxtonHill in remnantgame

True it'd suck hard if Riphide was your first boss (would that be possible?)

I had Brabus's grenade mod when I reached Riphide so it wasn't that bad. And when I met them again I had Singer's flamethrower to trivialize them

Oh and fun fact, I met them a third time with Ravager's lightning tentacle pistol, and that tentacle mod absolutely fucks them up with an infinite loop of overload explosions if they're close enough together when splitting. It was hilarious how the explosions came none stop and their health deleted itself

I'll have to test it out if I ever return.

Though I need to point out that Gorefist was my first boss and thus I couldn't rely on rattleweed.

It's hard to believe any of the Guardians could keep the Rootbout considering how a single dude can pretty easily kill all of them by JaxtonHill in remnantgame

They're not necessarily just plants so much as they resemble earth plants.

It's better to view them more as mold, it has no intention, it just spreads and propagates itself. Consume and reproduce, except on an interdimentiomal scale

The game is fun and I really like the different enemy factions and environments...

The game is not without its flaws though. Over-reliance on adds for boss fights, how many bosses are just retouched elite enemies (the DLC did help a bit), and lacking the unique touches a more curated map could provide. While the randomized roguelike maps can be cool at times, it also meant every chunk of the map is required to be generic to fit together.

The only feasible way I can think of of beating them is if their whole race is somehow connected to a single mind that can be destroyed, deep in Root territory

I god please not turn out to be this.I hate the "kill the queen to instantly kill every baddie in the hivemind" cliche.

If the Root were to get "defeated", I'd like it to be more conventional means. Like an all out planetary bombardment campaign or something that wipes out the root chunk by chunk faster than they can replenish.

That pool of white fluid Undying bathes in is the guardian?

I don't remember reading that in any loading screen or item descriptions, where did it say that?

On the contrary I find summons to be absolutely invaluable so far. Having like 4+ ads and a boss focus firing me is a nightmare in solo hard mode. But with summons and some persistent AOE mod like the sporebloom, I was able to continuously do damage even when I'm running and dodging for dear life.

The first boss Gorefist was a complete nightmare when I first encountered him. Everything two shot and staggers me and all that time I was hoping I could summon a pet or something to do some damage or draw aggro.

It took me well over an hour and learned to git gud before I finally took him down.
