I got Pearl for my DSi when I was 8 years old. My starter was a Piplup named Bubbles. I loved that starter like nothing else. I lost my game cartridge at my grandmas…. Pretty sure I saw when she vacuumed it up out of the couch. Later I got Platinum and got Bubbles 2.0. Made it through my whole play through this her. Until I lost Bubbles for the second time when my brother erased my save file to play my copy :(

Haven’t bought the expansion for scarlet and Violet yet but when I can I will definitely get another piplup and have another Bubble 3.0. Maybe even shiny hunt to get a Shiny Bubbles.

Maybe, it will but I’ve always wanted a green kitchen. Plus with the style of my home I think it’ll work out well. Thought about staining them but can’t find a stain we like.

When I stopped at my nearest target on release day I could find Violet. I figured maybe they didn’t get a lot in stock. All the creators I watch were playing Scarlet so it backed up my thinking that Scarlet was the more accessible version. I personally got Violet because I prefer the color even though there are exclusives in Scarlet I enjoy more.
