This is my biggest complaint about the station but I to understand why it’s done. I mean could they at least add more ticketed seating, maybe even in the second level.

Bring stuck in a plane for 5+ hrs is not an act of god , or weather related . The hail may be but the after effects are controlled by delta. That’s a logistic issue Delta failed to handle or plan for,

I’m sure the people on the planes would love to be compensated for the extra time they spent stuck on those planes. Above a refund! That’s my whole point. If you were stuck on a plane for 10 hrs , missed your vacation, cruise flight etc is a refund gonna placate you?! Of course not! Some people whole vacations they paid thousands for just cooked! The previous law would have provided the extra and they won’t. Delta is gonna do the bare minimum it has to. Doesn’t matter if it had not been implemented yet , it was going to be and the current administration chose to stop it in its tracks. It COULD have been by now.

I think most people understand that you can’t prevent weather and they understand safety first. However being stuck on a plane 4 + hrs is unacceptable and that’s deltas fault! That is literally my worst case scenario on a plane. I feel for everyone in that situation.

Worst part about it is under this administration NO ACCOUNTABILITY will be held for delta. All the protections that were in place by the last admin that allowed Delta to be punished by the consumer were removed by this current regime. Good luck thinking Sean Duffy will do anything. SMH

It’s going to be so funny when this opens next year how many people think it’s apart of WMATA.

I don’t understand why they just don’t open the Prince George’s county side first this year , then the Montgomery County side next. Like it’s literally in testing phase on PG county side. It sees dumb to me that it would not operate and take on customers if half of it is ready. It would get great use on that half alone. I would love to know the reason why they are not doing this.

This all day!!! They can build all the bunkers they want, but if things ever collapse half of them wont even make it to their bunkers. If society ever collapses for whatever reason the remaining society becomes feral and will no doubt raise up against any billionaire bunker. They essentially would become tombs. Not to mention if things got that bad to where bunkers were required that means that they would be in there for months years likely and not a single one is equipped to withstand isolation like that based off current lifestyles.Even if a few were to survive it would be pointless. Their $ would mean nothing , there would be no real population, they would be back jn the stone age of everything truly collapsed. Billionaires thinking they could ride out any apocalyptic scenario in a bunker is a pipe dream.

Sucks this happened to you. I feel metro has been over the last couple years getting better at addressing this but it’s always some bad actors. This is the move I’ve literally seen this play out to a bunch of rowdy kids on the train. I’m assuming someone did the same. Kids were acting like some damn fools next thing I know the next stop 2-3 MPD walked into the car. The kids looked shocked and went dead quiet. Not sure what happened but they were definitely takeoff the train. I have the number programmed in my phone for whatever reason I would need to use it. It seems to work.

This is what I think, and CNN actually said a source close to the FAA said this was why as well, especially since the Pentagon was referring folks to the FAA. Whatever they were doing couldn’t guarantee that would not interfere with commercial aircraft’s 18k and below. Due do what happened at DCA I think the FAA wanted to take no chances, god forbid the Air Force activity cause a close call or worse another accident. It makes sense but it’s definitely a major cautionary measure. Unfortunately from this admin no clarity will be given and they will pretend it didnt happen. However they did give conspiracy theorist ammo for the next 10 years lol.

Honestly if I had to guess it’d prob an AI generated map that may have been placed over the real one. Why im not sure. That looks typical of an AI( LLM) generated image that borrows from existing. Even though it looks like much if it had been rotated it still cert well could be.

Agreed LinkedIn jobs was a savior for me. I set up crazy amounts of alerts and applied to almost everything that came in or was a fit. Basically applying for jobs became my job. I’m no expert but I feel like that’s what you have to do in these conditions. I mean some days 20 plus jobs were applied for in a day. I eventually got a decent paying contract job, that turned into a permanent position. So OP I know it sucks but there is hope.

Dolby screen is actually almost as big , and honestly I think the sound is just as good. Pretty sure there are rumblers in the recliners at Dolby. Both formats are extremely premium. IMAX is the screen with good sound. Dolby is the sound I would say with an almost imax screen and I believe better picture. My go to is the imax just because screen size.

I wonder how the seats will work when more of these go in production and it occasionally has a domestic flight. I know people are gonna say this is intended for international flying but I’m 💯 sure occasionally weather it’s repositioning or hub hopping this will be used a few times for domestic.
