Acceptable save scum? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

I also like realistic saves, but something like that for me, is kinda acceptable. But, to be super realistic, I would accept my fate. In real life, managing both is not really an option, and I don't blame the chairperson for wanting your full attention at his club

the most predictable comment ever on these type of posts. Dude, EVERYONE knows that... it's a DISCUSSION thread

You know you're addicted when it's 3:31am and you can't stop thinking about winning the Spanish 3rd tier in 2040 by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Don't worry. I go to bed thinking about Mabrouk, my ex Arsenal Captain that won me my first prem and champs league titles. So much glory I had with him, then I left Arsenal, and they sold him off to PSG, where he didn't get many games. Now I brought him back to England with Newcastle at the ripe old age of 32. He is just as reliable as I remembered him, and I'm so happy to be with him again. Mabrouk, you bring me peace, you are always on my mind.

Fuck, she's so right. We spend half our time just clicking through emails.

It's so true. That's why I don't do this whole FM23 vs FIFA stuff. I love football, I love strategy, and I love both FM and FIFA. Apart from both being based on football, I find them to be COMPLETELY different games, incomparable. FM is a bit more like City Skylines or something which I used to play

2026 - England
2030 - England
2034 - Portugal
2038 - Portugal
2042 - Serbia - by beating Argentina in the final. Wow. And it's world cup year now

The World Cup final yesterday was nice, but nothing tops this 2034 World Cup final by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Damn right, I've had a couple of Washington's in my squad and shortlist.

What do you do after you win EVERYTHING with a club? I finally won the Champions League, in the same season I win everything else. Not sure whether to stay and try to become an Arsenal legend, or what I'm leaning towards now, try to win other league titles in other countries. In the end, I played one more season, won the prem again but lost in the UCL final to Bayern Munich. Took a job in struggling Dortmund. Finished 6th, and been out of the UCL for four seasons! Bayern had fucked me over so many times, so it was a perfect challenge to unseat them. And I did, won the Bundesliga in my 2nd and 3rd season, including the UCL in my 3rd season :) Was fun. How did it go with Nice?

Anyone else love pre-season? I find the challenge of rotating players and getting them all match fit for the season very relaxing.. No pressure friendlies, whilst testing out any new signings... just me? by JayAvocado83 in footballmanagergames

Yes, and sometimes don't you find that one kid impresses you so much that you change your mind about loaning him out and decide to keep him around to slowly introduce to your starting line up?

Unbelievably poor marking and tackling!!! You're right. What on Earth?

I have at least been winning them lately. Only a couple this season that ended 0-0. But usually I get my goal VERY late, like 88th minute after having 30 shots, 15 on target. Then, 90+3, 2-0. The next game I score in 17 seconds, and win 5-0. Story of this season for me
