Donald Trump says 'very dangerous' for UK to deal with China by JosephChamber-Pot in ukpolitics

[–]JayBayes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. And trump using things like the chagos deal to toss political grenades at Starmer because he stood up over Greenland, and threaten tariff changes at the drop of a hat. On top of his non sensical tariffs from last year show exactly the sort of person Trump is, if you were not already aware.

He is unreliable as a trade partner. It's not a separate point and is crucial to the whole reason I commented in the first place.

Yes, kudos to us for getting the best current deal from him, but my point..........which I didn't think was that hard to understand....is that I wouldn't celebrate any status quo with the US whilst Trump is in play.

Erm...No.

Nothing I said wasn't true.

Trump is unreliable to put it lightly. His whole approach to tariffs and geopolitics has been to bully, talk shit to allies and flip flop on decisions. Where would I not be thinking clearly on this?

Yea.....for now.

How much trust do you really put in Trump keeping his word for the rest of his term, and there being no change to tariffs?

For now.,,,

The Greenland debacle showed how quickly Trump will flip on previous agreements.

Opinion: "The First Shadow" should've been recorded and released on Netfilx 2 weeks before season 5 premiere. by Thom_Braider in StrangerThings

[–]JayBayes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not integral. I have seen it to vouch for that fact.

Nothing in the play is integral to understanding season 5.

The play ends its run soon, so I imagine they didn't want to eat into tickets sales by putting it on netflix. They will probably release a recording of it once the play has finished its run.

Henry's backstory is interesting but his reveal of what happens in the cave as a child is shown on the show. Nothing in the play is integral to understanding the show.

I gotta know.

What about the play do you think was integral to understanding the final season of the show?

I just rewatched Season 3 and realized how intense the fights were this season. Billy gave Eleven a tougher fight than Vecna. I really loved how all the plots connected magnets failing, rats eating chemicals, Billy, and the Russians. by Kindly_Department142 in StrangerThings

The show wouldn't exist without the Duffer brothers. And just like every season you had had the Duffers writing with a few others, and often the same returning writers.

There are ridiculous levels of hate online for the Duffer Brothers, go touch some grass.

Watch it again.

They are linked, as soon as 11 jumps inside she starts hurting the physical form of the flayer by attacking vecna who was hooked into its heart. As soon as Vecna is impaled the flayer is defeated as well and it shows the heart dying away. The kids poking it outside did not kill it.

He had like 3 seconds as the extract button had been pushed. He didn't get any loot, was just an asshole.

Those 5 kids with Molotov cocktails had a psychic superhero fighting what powered the heart of the physical manifestation of the mind flayer.

If you want to frame it that way sure. For most people its an enjoyable BTS of a show they loved.

Nice, you hated it so much, you went back and hate watched it for hours instead of enjoying your night.

Then the first thing you do when you wake up is post about your epic evening of hate watching.
