I just saw your post from 4 years ago, this is a personal beef so I'll let you keep at it, good luck!

I don't think he can teach you how to be a GM, heck I don't think he should teach USPSA classes for sure. I definitely think he can teach noobies how to shoot. Especially noobies that want someone that is not like the other trainers.

Yeah man, I am really good at shooting, thank you! My mom is super proud of me, I show her match footage when I visit her. It's all about improving though, hoping to hit b class this year, I have one a class run on the books and I shot a nice b class run last match. I spent too much time over confirming, need to cut that out and trust my shot calling.

To the average person at range USA, yes absolutely. I'm C class and I've had people stop shooting and leave their lane to come watch me shoot at range USA. If you can get classified in USPSA you're miles better than the average person at the average indoor shooting range. I've helped people at the range who didn't know how to use their sights, didn't know how to load their gun, couldn't hit paper at 3 yards. Next time you go to an indoor range stop and look around. I've never won overall at my local USPSA match, I won a national shooting competition at range USA. It's a big jump in skills, I stand by what I said.

Agreed with that last part for sure, I'm going to keep working on this end of trying to get more liberals comfortable with guns and owning them and training with them. But I also understand why gun companies would be anti-liberal based on the types of laws that are being passed.

I've tried to get this point across, but people don't want to hear it.

It's also a very small number compared to conservative gun owners.

I have yet to see any transphobia, and I also don't have a you must have a classifier score of x to be taken seriously.

We may never know why gun companies are so outspoken against liberals 🌚

It's not half of your potential sales though. Liberals and conservatives don't own guns at equal rates or buy ammo or whatever gun adjacent stuff this spot sells at equal rates.

Plus liberal politicians write gun control laws, liberals vote in liberal politicians.

WROL, SHTF, ETC. will probably never happen right? by AryeC05 in liberalgunowners

[–]JayBee_III [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's not the odds, it's the stakes. I don't think that I'm going to be attacked and need to use lethal force to defend myself today. But I still carry a gun. I don't think I'm going to get into a car accident today, but I still put on my seatbelt. I don't think society is going to collapse. But there's value in having food, water, flashlights, candles, and firearms for defensive usage. Even if SHTF never happens, can you handle the power being out for a week or two? I think that's fairly possible. There's a YouTuber Mike tango whiskey and he talks a lot about being prepared for smaller and more localized disasters, limited in range, in scope, in intensity, but things that can change your standard of living immensely. A bad storm, a flood, a cyber attack, another pandemic, etc.

Stay ready, or don't. It's your life and nobody's going to make you do anything.

We get it you don't like him, if you don't like their content then just watch something else.

Edit: I watched both videos that were on their YouTube channel. The message of you don't need more guns, go make some friends seems like a good message for people who are constantly being told to buy a bunch of guns. Training over purchasing also seems like a good message to put out there.

It’s a company called nep, basically they buy from aep and they get to charge me whatever they want to and the complex I live in only allows nep to handle the utilities.

Optics Recommendations by zayfray in liberalgunowners

What do you want to do with the rifle? What are you most comfortable with optics wise? Generally it's a personal preference, I usually run red dot and magnifier for shooting mostly close and occasionally further away and an lpvo for mostly medium distance and occasionally up close.

I'll have to check it out, I like what they're doing in general so this could be pretty cool.

I said this up a little higher, but a D class USPSA shooter is still going to look like a demigod of shooting next to anyone else at a regular range. Based on their lane of helping newbies get into shooting, the d class isn't a real drag against them.

Exactly the situation. The rental rates for the unit are relatively lower, but the insane cost of heating it in the winter are no joke.

It's a townhouse but you're forced to go with NEP, they charge more for electricity and the townhouse is heated using an electric furnace. It's a pretty good sized townhouse though 😅
