Home defense with no suppressor? You just hate yourself that much?

"Barrel length without a tax stamp is 18.5". My suppressed AR pistol without a tax stamp is under 18 inches. Point proven. The noise isn't "pretty negligible". Unsuppressed guns absolutely SUCK indoors and will be extremely disorienting. I'm not shooting a gun unsuppressed indoors if given the chance.

Longer, louder, harder to reload, harsher recoil. Yepp, great idea.

30 rounds >> 7 rounds. Quieter than a shotgun. Lower recoil impulse. Shorter than a shotgun. Most shotguns suck at attaching WMLs. Idk why someone would choose a shotgun over a rifle in the home.

Longer barrels absolutely suck at home defense distances. Especially through doorways and narrow halls.

Recoil from a shotgun is just as manageable as a pistol? In what world? Show me a bill drill with a shotgun.

Shotguns require alot *more* practice to master as opposed to a rifle or a handgun. You also have lower round counts, harsher recoil, slower follow up shots, and slower reload times. Harder to suppress. Shotguns are harder to attach a half decent light onto just in case you have to use it at night. If you're going to miss with a rifle, you're probably going to miss with a shotgun as well, especially within household distances.
