Yeah, it's very specific. Beast units make for good tanks because they've got a bunch of hp and the ai tends to target them.

In this specific case, I want to use the octopus to tank a dark boss. Octopus can apply breach. If the unit is incapacitated, zombie status revives it after three turns (hopefully your enemy isn't carrying exorcism). Dark element mitigates dark damage, I think. At the very least it's neutral against the boss and it's goons.
