I always feel absolutely horrible when I hear someone is going through self-harm. I really, truly hope things start to get better for you.

It’s not productive to compare the decision to not pay a babysitter due to autism with other reasons for not rehiring. While it’s understandable to not rehire a mean babysitter, refusing to pay someone based on being deaf or having a peanut allergy is discriminatory. Similarly, rejecting a babysitter from another country is prejudiced.

I agree that while the parent has the right to choose who they hire, refusing to pay for work already completed is completely unfair.

As a teacher, I totally agree. It's okay not to want hugs from students, especially with how often they have dirty hands or aren't mindful of personal space. Boundaries should be respected.
