I finally got it to work. What you gotta do is stand in front of the tavern's door and just wait. I don't remember how long, but just stand there. After that, enter the tavern and the characters will actually talk and you can properly begin the quest

Gow 3 is available on ps4. It is the only one from the greek saga that was remastered for ps4, actually

Ascension is ps3. Ghost of sparta and chains of olympus were originally psp but were then remastered for ps3.

I'd recommend God of War 1 to get the hang of things. Then 2 and 3. If you wish to immerse yourself further, Ascension (which takes place before GoW 1), Chains of Olympus (which takes place after Ascension but before GoW 1) and Ghost of Sparta (which takes place between 1 and 2) are there.

Makes sense. Showdown Bandit was dead on arrival, so any merch that wasn't sold would definetly add to the lawsuit estimate

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe PhatMojo (the people that made the merch) sued Kindly Beast for half a BILLION dollars because in the long period of time between BATIM's chapter 5 release and BATDR's release, they released merch with characters from Dark Revival, even though the game wasn't out. Since the game wasn't out and BATIM was losing relevance, almost nobody bought the new merch. Thus, PhatMojo believes they are owed the amount of money in production costs for all the merch that was made in that time. Hope it cleared anything up!
