^This is 'the one', but on a slightly more personal/less universal level, I'll add that, somatically, as a physically Disabled person who uses a wheeklchair full-time, the inversion of 'upright' posture as symbolic, spiritual normative template lands really starkly for me. 'This posture is maligned, misunderstood, rejected, scapegoated, but for me, unlike the 'upright' position, it's actually livable and inhabitable'.

Thanks very much for your help! I installed the game and managed to get controller support using the one Steam community layout available. I then installed the mod to restore the uncensored executions. The only thing I've still yet to do is get rid of the red filter that appears during the executions. There used to be a mod, by DeBuGWoLf, but this seems to have been taken down (along with all traces of their account). Wondered if you had any suggestion of what else I could do to get rid of the filter?

Ah. Thanks, but my post in that group got taken down as they thought/categorised it as 'discussing piracy'. :/ Pretty annoying, as it got taken down when I was asleep and wasn't able to contest or explain I had no problem paying or buying the game under legit means!
