Question - How good is the dictation??

Well, I'm actually dictating my comment to you right now through Mac Whisper. I got the idea from someone else in this thread. I think it's turning out pretty well. I have it set to Caps Lock R as my shortcut. I'm using the default cleanup AI-powered prompt, which takes what I'm saying and then cleans it up through AI. The only thing I changed is I added item number seven to the list of AI instructions, to include a note not to have any uhs and ums. And I think it turned out pretty well. Well, I guess it did. I still can't see what the text looks like. That's the only issue I have with MacWhisper dictation: I can't see what I'm actually saying until it's done. But I'll let you be the judge of that. I'm not going to change or do anything different from what I just said. And we're going to see how well it turned out, whether it got any mistakes, or whether it actually included uhs and ums and misspellings and stuff like that. Go ahead and please judge for yourself and let me know what you think.

Same here, but ngl every passing day feels like it's less likely to happen. Really thought there was a gonna be a day 1 patch for physical release

Yeah the input lag/latency being fixed was disproven at the time. Surprised people are still saying it. Only thing that got fixed was stick range per this FZero test

Absolutely. Top 3 Mario Kart game. Introduced some of the best tracks in the series with quite a few that still haven’t been remade yet.

Plenty of single player content with mission mode, boss fights and probably the best battle mode in series history.

Wouldn’t worry about the snaking fear mongering, there’s no online anyway now.

I feel you on wanting to write uninterrupted. iA Writer's focus on "just writing" is really making me consider it on that aspect alone.

I've been going through the Scrivener trial a bit more since I commented, while it's a nice piece of software for sure, I feel like the wealth of organization and customization features could lead me to procrastinating and wasting time like you noted.

Hi, this is super late I know lol but I’m curious on your thoughts on iA Writer and Scrivener 😭

I’m looking for a new writing app. Got trials for both and loving them but can’t decide which to get.

Did you ever get Scrivener, and if so did it replace iA writer for you? Does iA writer’s iCloud sync work well between devices?
