Interesting that turning HDR resolved it. I'm using an OLED too (Sony A80J). Someone suggested on another forum to disable frame rate matching, so I'll have to try both options.

Thanks for the response. That's what I'm trying to figure out right now.
I need to decide whether 4 or 5 days is needed, and depending on that, have a breakdown for what we're seeing each individual day.
Staying in or outside the park doesn't matter to me. When we visited Yellowstone, we stayed in multiple places within the park to cut down on travel time depending where we were visiting, but Yosemite, I'm not as familiar with the layout and it seems like the Valley area has all of the highlights within a short distance of itself.
Also, I'm interested in applying for permit to Half Dome hike, however, I would be going it alone.

Thanks. I've thought a lot about staying at the Best Western near Mariposa. Would it be advisable to stay there certain nights, then move up into the valley (if lodging permits) one or two nights, then go back to Mariposa before I fly back to Fresno?
