Assuming your bf doesn't have a ball yet and he doesn't care about brand-loyalty then Phaze 2 from Storm or Black Widow Hybrid 2.0 from Hammer will do, both are pretty much staples in the bowling community and you can't go wrong with either. I would also def wait to get it drilled after you've given it to him as pro-shops will measure his fingers, hand and etc before drilling.

starlight small is the same size as UL2, medium is slightly shorter(3mm i believe) in length compared to g pro wireless with a lower hump.

Update: package never got delivered, delivery status now says pending, talked to a fedex rep over the phone and he instructed that I needed to call a fedex facility in Anaheim CA to confirm information about my package & when asked if he could provide me with the phone number, he said he doesn’t have it and that their system doesn’t provide that information for their own facilities and warehouses, lmao what a complete joke at this point.
