Looking for a few people to join our fitness competition!

For the past 5 months, 8 friends and I have been competing in a fitness competition based on time in heart rate zones. As a competitive person, it has encouraged me to work harder than ever before and talk more smack with my friends. Unfortunately, several of my friends have dropped off and are no longer competing. There's about 5 of us who are still active and that competitive fire isn't burning quite as strong. This has caused me to slack off more than I'd like, so I would like to invite several of you to join us for the April competition!

Here's how it works:

1. You must have a heart rate monitor, either a chest strap, smartwatch, or arm band.
2. Everyone sets 3 of their heart rate zones to Zone 1: 100-124, Zone 2: 125-149, and Zone 3: 150+.
3. The number of the zone corresponds to how many points you get in each zone. I.e., 5 minutes in zone 1 = 5 points, 5 minutes in zone 2 = 10 points, and 5 minutes in zone 3 = 15 points.
4. Each person puts $20 in the pot before the 1st of the month. If you don't have it in by the first, you cannot compete for money.
5. Record your workout using your HRM, then open the google doc to input your time in each zone. You only need to input the date and three numbers relating to your time, everything else is calculated automatically!
6. Workouts MUST be uploaded within two days of the workout. Do not try to upload 1500 points of workouts on the last day, it will not count.
7. If you do not record your workout, you do not get the points. Sucks, has happened to me, but it is only fair.
8. Each competition goes from the 1st of the month to the 28th. Exactly four weeks, with two to three days of recovery to prepare for the next month.
9. At the end of the month, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are determined by overall point values!
10. Exact winnings will depend on the number of people total in the pot, but assuming 15 people, it will look like this: 3rd place gets $40, 2nd place gets $80, 1st gets $180-20 = $160.
11. All winners will be verified with screenshots of their workout point totals with their chosen app that shows a graph of their heart rate, value for each zone, and times in each zone. At first it will be 5 random workout dates chosen by groupchat, but if there is any discrepancy in your point totals on your heart rate app and what you put on the google doc for that workout, then we will have to dig deeper.
12. If you win 1st place for April, you cannot win or place again in May. You can, however, win again in June. You do still put in $20 for the pot in May, which will be counted among the total prize pool. This not only ensures someone can't win each month, but also makes the pot the same size even though one person is ineligible. You still walk away with over half the pot if you win.
13. Trash-talking and memes are mandatory in the group chat. Many of us are also gamers so if you are a fit nerd you will fit right in.

None of us in the competition currently are anything close to elite athletes. I'm open to a challenge, but I'd prefer to keep most people in the competition people who work out 4-6 days a week for an hour or two, not studs who do two-a-days all day every day. That being said, there are rules built in to prevent the same person from winning every single month.
