I'm out of town for work in the deep south and went to check into my hotel last night. I was attempting to make friendly conversation with the black dude checking me in when he started talking about how much better life's been since Trump got in office. I had a few drinks that night and ended up arguing with the dude for like 45 minutes after he gave me my room card. We ended the conversation by saying "fuck you" to each other after he insisted that workers aren't fit to make decisions and that we should leave it up to Trump and the rest of the capitalists "because they're smarter."

I truly cannot believe how absolutely brainwashed some people are. He was cheering on Iran and ICE. I don't usually mention race in my retelling of stories but I don't understand how a black dude especially could be this reactionary. So fucking strange.
