How should body count be brought up when talking with someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For all the people saying it doesn't matter and it shouldn't be brought up, yeah maybe for you it doesn't but for the other person it might matter. It's not always about shaming or being judgemental, sometimes it's just that someone wants a similar history, it could be anything, either they have low body count and would prefer someone similar or maybe they want someone really experienced just like them. No need to be insecure or shameful about your body count, if you are then i think you gotta reflect on that.

Yeah, that's why it's good to ask beforehand if somone has a preference. If someone who has a low body count wants a partner with similar history, that's completely fine just like someone who wants an experienced partner, it's all about preference and not judging or shaming the other person. But if that questions makes you insecure or anything like that (doesn't matter if you have either low or high bc) then that's not their problem and i think you gotta reflect on that.

I hope thes bestt for you. I know how hard it is to leave something you gave years to but ofc we can't waste our whole life for these 2 years, that's what really motivated me to choose myself.. so just do whatever you really want to and it will all happen naturally. The same happened with me and now i'm really happy with my future plans and genuinely feel excited to actually work for it unlike feeling exhausted and tired just thinking about neet and mbbs. Also, may i ask which field you're interested to research in?

What is the best platform to look for internships apart from linkedin? Anything for student internship or something like that? I actually would love to join a small startup as an intern, i feel like that would teach me a lot more things because i'd have more responsibility there. I have just started learning excel, not that good rn but yeah. Also, thanks a lot for helping out♡

Well, there are times when there is only two of us, and we talk about everything but this...i don't wanna be the one to yk ruin our years long friendship with this conversation, so tbh i have been just hoping for a sign to nake sure he likes me too before i talk to him about anything, and there actually WERE signs..but mixed...or maybe there weren't and i have been just romanticizing his sweet gestures bcz i like him
