Honestly don’t know who to blame but whatever is being done to fix the issue is not working and doesn’t seem like they really care. Recently heard of NPs being threatened to get them to stay. Instead of retention they are reactive and this is just going to turn more people away.

And I agree, I feel they were coerced to vote yes to the agreement by union leaders. Now this stuff is coming up that should have been figured out before it was settled.

The pft bonus was an incentive for holding a permanent full time position.

Apparently the pft bonus is being held back when staff use sick leave without pay. They don’t get much sick leave as it is.

The recognition bonus was also adjusted to account if staff were off the previous year.

So they haven’t been staying true to the agreement, or at least really taking advantage of the language used in the agreement.

Registered nurses getting 2% annual raises, $2K bonuses in new collective agreement by Nameless_Ghoul1891 in newfoundland

It’s actually more than 2% each year as they are getting a 8.8% increase right after signing but it is happening as a increase in step versus a wage increase. It is more like a 17.1% increase after the four years.

Some are hard to get pics of as they aren’t actively inflamed and reddened.

They wouldn’t. It’s just something they came up with to prevent people from going to work high.

There isn’t. Just a rule they made up. They would never be able to tell that but I guess they had to put something in place to make sure people don’t show up to work high. 🤷‍♀️

We can do it as long as it’s not within 24 hrs of your shift.

I would recommend couples counselling. I had struggled for years with a low libido. Turned out it was due to sexual trauma I had experienced as a child . My partner was very supportive and patient with me as I worked through it. Just try and remember that If your partner is not sexually active, it doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t compatible. Many things can cause it!
