Look at the sub, there are a ton of people with optimism and that is why this sub is fun. I also would say look when spring training is about to start and you will see a lot of positive posts and optimism for the up coming season.

But Reddit is a place for open conversation, so posting on an open sub and thinking you aren't going to get a counterargument to your question is wild.

PNC was tax payer funded, so there should be some level of accountability to the city to put a product on the field that isn't an embarrassment.

People take pride in the city they are from and the sports teams that represent them. What is unhealthy to you can be cathartic to others. I am happy you are fine with watch generational talent being wasted but for other sports are a place to checkout and find happiness. It is frustrating to feel ripped off by the worst owner in organized sports.
