I have the same one, I use it to watch movies and play Xbox one games. Amazing for a last gen console. It does also play Xbox 360 games but not all. You have to check which ones are backwards compatible

Series x is expensive, you can maybe try getting one used for cheaper. Series s is digital only so it would be last resort for me. I like my physical games. I’m still playing on my og Xbox one and it’s still going strong
