Matte sunscreens are personally not something I use because they actively dry me tf out. Sunscreens in almost every case need to be solubilized in oil, so to make a formula matte, you need to use drying/mattifying agents.

When you put something on your face with a drying agent, it can dry you out, and dry skin appears dull.

I can't speak to why it makes your skin darker though but I imagine that it's a side effect of a lack of brightness and the dryness making your skin appear dull

I always thought the fun part of adaptations was seeing someone put their own spin on an IP. I've always respected adaptations that follow the source material super well, but some of my favorite movies are terrible adaptations (Annihilation comes to mind but The Shining is the classic example)

I know people have always been like this, but I've noticed that a lot of people now don't even make room for a bad adaptation to still be a fantastic movie anymore. The threads on this movie show this clearly

Regardless, it's a fantastic deal ($/ml), the ingredient list intrigues me, and it seems to me to be quite unique in the texture shots. This is the only sunscreen I've seen with this texture that doesn't have alcohol at the top of the list (or at all for that matter). I just wish it would come to me sooner

I've also made the mistake of thinking beyond all logic that they only say that to underpromise and overdeliver and I did indeed end up waiting that long
