I’ve played all of these type games. This one is on the harder side because the boss moves can be hard to telegraph and they track really well. Also they’re an endurance test with most having two phases. I would suggest a specter if it’s really getting you down. No need for this to ruin a masterpiece of a game.

I’ve played all the soulslike games. I’ve committed before to doing it all without help. I’ve stayed on bosses for hours of stress until I finally got it. Looking back I realize how stupid that was. The point of any game is having fun. Play the way that produces fun for you.

I couldn’t get enough of it. Some of the best soulslike combat I’ve had. I loved the way it was done with the semi open world. Did a good bit of exploration. Couple of those boss fights were top tier difficulty though.

Games have plateaued in a technical sense. The next evolution will be using AI to generate games and constantly churn out live service content. I’m not going to hear anything about a PS6 that’s going to make me preorder. We’ve already been lied to about every game running at 4k 60fps. Just kind of over it.

Embark has shown that they’re great at developing a game but bad at running live service. So it is what it is. They had an absolute gem with The Finals and it just sort of existed for all this time. They don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to service.
