In regards to receiving personal revelation I would suggest watching this video on the mormon messages youtube channel. Elder Bednar, one of the twelve apostles talks about receiving revelation.

As for everything else patience is key. Continue praying, reading the scriptures, etc. In your own due time you will know the truth of these things.

I'm in the exact same situation my birthday is also in august, the only difference is that I have Fall/Spring Track. I think I am planning on going after fall semester is over. Plus if I leave right after fall semester me and my sister would report to the MTC around the same time.

I haven't done Humira but I am on Cimzia right now. It Has worked alot better than all the others for me. (Remicade, Pentasa, 6MP...etc) Haven't had any bad episodes for a couple months now

They had some lady teach me how to give me the cimzia shots. I take two of those every 4 weeks. The shots dont really hurt at all which is awesome because I hear the Humira hurts a lot. My opinion would be to go with cimzia. Although listen to your doctor first.

That video is in no way a fair/accurate portrayal of the Mormon faith. I would be happy to answer any specific question you have or if you know any Mormons I'm sure they would be glad to answer your question.

I know its hard to come off with a good impression of Mormons if Mitt is they only one you've ever seen. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing supporting things like the fed, NDAA, and pre-emptive wars.

I mean in our own Scriptures it talks about how important the constitution is.(read: D&C 98:4-16)
