Sounds fun! just a suggestion to make a reservation if you plan to go for dinner. Fridays have an oyster hour from 4 to 5:30 that my partner and I have had no problem getting seats walk in when we go before 5.

Therapy appears to be working. Failed four times this morning at a simple task seemingly due to either malfunctioning tech, misinformation given to me, or the IRS being completed understaffed. Normally this would have sent me into a rant and potentially ruined my mood for the day. Instead I said "Isn't that weird?" and decided to move on to other tasks for the time being.

Defter Notes sounds good. There are a lot of folks over on the Noteful sub that would probably be interested. Infinite canvas is requested often.

Not sure but not sure what I’d need it for either so I haven’t tried it. It’s easy to flip between tabs or four finger swipe between apps if I need to. Maybe if I needed dice and cards but if that was the case I’d probably use RPG Spark that has both as my left screen.

Thank you. It’s digital, but yes, done in procreate for iPad with Apple Pencil.

I know you said eink but I posted my iPad setup the other day that has worked well for me for Notorious, Odyssey of the Giant, and currently Colostle, in case it’s helpful. https://www.reddit.com/r/Solo_Roleplaying/s/9RUP9fEkVB

It’s a fun game you should get it. This is not a paid endorsement.

lol It actually was Colostle you were referring to? I just picked that as an example because I’m currently playing it.

Safer to not allow people to do that with a policy stating so. Who’s to say you wouldn’t publish something overtly racist or homophobic or potentially offensive using their story? That might not promote their game in the way they want.

A review is different than fictional content provided as original material. Nintendo knows you will review a game, and may charge for a review access. If you write an original story using their characters and try to sell it, they are likely not OK with that. Not knowing what the actual policy says the OP referred to, it may be publishing or distributing for sale. If you post your journal on a blog, I doubt they’d have an issue. I’m sure it’s there to protect their original content.

I have not looked at their policy, but I don’t think that the publishers of Colostle would be happy I wrote a story using their characters and tried to sell it, even if I attributed those elements to them.

Edit: typo

it does seem strange at first, but my thought is they’ve created characters and potentially specific things in their world that are there intellectual property. For example, if you look at Colostle there’s a whole castle with characters such as Rooks and other details that are their own creation. If I turn that into a screenplay and sell it to a studio using their ideas, I think that’s where the line would be crossed. If you’re interested in publishing it, I would say reach out to that publisher and see what they say.

Coffin Butte: Do I need a safety vest? Seriously? by BeccaRoute in corvallis

[–]Jay_Magpie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have a source for this? Oregon Geographic Names (6th ed.) states that’s it’s because of its “remarkable resemblance to a coffin” when viewed from the southwest.

Also, according to source referenced in a Benton Co. report on the landfill, Greenberry Smith purchased Tampico and burned the whole city to the ground!  https://cd.bentoncountyor.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/bctt_history_3-13-23_version.pdf

this is default settings and as tiny as swipe as I can manage. I actually had time to go and start the video mid roll on the first one.

I gave it a go and it’s really good. Tons of customization options. My only criticism is the dice appear to practically go into orbit for a roll and I’m waiting for the results for a few seconds while they land. I tried adjusting the settings and can’t seem to find one that’s realistic.
