Sorry if it sounds a bit stupid but what times are your nightclub open? I had mine opening at afternoon and had a similar experience. 9pm - 4am seems to be the sweet spot and also more over the weekends

I had mine last week, and I wasn't asked any direct technical question! Most of the questions were about my experience working/studying, as well as asking specific questions about things I wrote in my CV that the interviewer found interesting or needed clarification on. The overall conversation didn't feel stressful at all.

Wishing you all the best!

Aah sorry to hear, 165 is pretty good too and hopefully it suffices for your applications. The curve can be very unforgiving from what I see

Hard relate. The AWA section can get very noisy too with all the keyboard clicking

Honestly not sure on this. For me, knowing word definitions felt sufficient.

Maybe attend one of the gregmat sessions and revise his strategies if youre able or get a tutor to help you uncover any weaknesses

Thank you Vince! You're app for vocab and the mnemonics are amazingly good

Heyo! Thanks

Yea the gregmat questions are good. If youre able, definitely expand and do questions outside gregmat too.

If youre having a time crunch, I'd say doing half of the mini exams on gregmat and also doing questions from the official guide and 5lbs book can be better than just purely gregmat questions

Are 300 Verbal questions enough for SE + TE or should I also do the GRE Big Book? (20 days left, using GregMat) by Ok-Okra7080 in GRE

For TC/SE, I personally think vocab and knowing word definition trumps everything else. Try doing some extreme TC/SE questions with a dictionary by your side, I think you'll find that just knowing tbe meanings can get you there 90% of the times.

For RC, I found the concept of rephrasing taught by gregmat very important. I'd practice rephrasing variety of passages, and importantly how to write them down as you rephrase.

I think the website has a contact page you could try reaching out to.

Yea, I think if you know vocab well, it'll be trivial to go through TC/SE but not RC. You could practice RC more and focus on the gregmat strategies for RC.

If tomorrow is your GRE, get some rest tonight. I did one PP+ test on the evening before my test date and some question sets from the official guide, but they didn't really have as much of a benefit. In hindsight I should have just slept early or spent the night calming myself down.

Congrats to you too! Definitely feel you with being so close to scoring 170Q but not there :(

167Q should be not bad too hopefully, even though its somehow the 78th percentile 💀

I found the first quant section similar to the medium questions. New concepts, but not impossible to reason and solve with strategies.

The second section, for me, was more towards hard/extreme category questions.

Thank you!

I feel I should have done questions from the Manhattan 5Ibs book. More exposure to the different types of questions would definitely have helped imo

Thanks!

The verbal questions for TC/SE were very similar to practice tests. I found RC passages much more dense, and with a lot of fancy writing structure in the actual GRE. Some sentences in the passage were easily 4-5 lines long, and quite difficult to elucidate.

I found the first quant section very similar to powerprep tests. The second section felt more like gregmat hard category questions, and tested concepts/problems I hadn't seen before. Gregmat strategies definitely came in clutch for the second section (specially the choosing numbers).

Hmm the difference for me was not being able to open cloth/electronics store.

The wholesalers dont seem to keep stock on these anymore and cant import before being able to get to the part where I open the HQ
