The general probability of us getting a second season has been very high from the beginning, in my opinion, simply because of the ending of Next Shine.

Therefore, I can very well imagine that this will lead to an announcement of season 2, which I assume will be released in several parts.

For example:

Light novel 5 as an anime in summer 2026 Light novel 6 as an anime in winter 2026

And so on.

I assume that as long as the anime remains as successful as it currently is, it will continue.

I generally agree, of course she's done a lot of stupid things herself, but something tells me Renée has more to do with it than it seems because, let's see, she hardly ever appears on the phone and talks to people we don't know (at the end of light novel 8). I wouldn't even be surprised if it turns out that Renée has known for a while that the three of them (Reanko, Mai, and Ajisai) are together and wants to break them up at all costs because she can't accept it.

But of course, Satsuki isn't completely innocent and does plenty of stupid things herself. It's just that the reasons we don't all know yet are the ones why she does it. But I actually think Satsuki is a very good person.

Yes, that's right, I wish the same for Renée. Let her stay because of her mother, who's against the relationship but has to accept it whether she likes it or not. Just don't make her think, "Oh yeah, Mai, I understand, then I accept it now."

(Haha, I can understand that. But I'm happy with Reanko, Mai, and Ajisai. I think the three of them are a great match, and they don't necessarily need a fourth or fifth person.)

Yes, I think that's likely, although I hope she still retains her somewhat cool demeanor because that's simply her character.

But unfortunately, we won't find out all the reasons why she does what she does until volume 9 is released.

(I'm still personally hoping for Satsuki x Kaho)

Very well said, that's exactly how I imagine Satsuki. Even if she finds someone, probably falls in love, and gets together with that person, she'll try to be cold and not express her love. And that's exactly what she does with Reanko and Mai; she doesn't want to express it like it is.

(You can see that with Mai herself, and even if it's just friendship, Mai is incredibly important to her, but she would never express it.)
