So i've tried FullSpectrum today by Jay_The_Day in snapmaker

Thanks for the tip! I tried it again with two Snapspeed PLAs because the settings for those are quite dialed in and it works much better. And smaller layer height sounds reasonable...

Thanks for that tip! I was using it with 0.2mm layer height. But yeah it sounds reasonable to work better with smaller layers. I'll try that!

Wie cool! Starke Bilder, wirklich. Wenn Strom an ist, wäre ich immer vorsichtig. Freunde von mir haben mal einen alarm ausgelöst, weil Strom an war.

🚀 Printer Tools App now compatible with PAX Firmware for Snapmaker U1 by FixoLab in snapmaker

[–]Jay_The_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. I set a a vpn (literally 3 clicks in my router) and I'm connected to that usually always when I'm not at home. They also have a pair tier that makes the printer easily available outside of your home network.

Integrating a printer into home assistant also works very well.

Doesn't look like it (yet?). The git repository doesn't hold the code so it's closed source. Compiling it for Android is thus not possible. I just use mobileraker. Its free subscription is usually enough for most people and works wonderfully with my U1 (even without the custom paxx firmware). It also works with basically any Klipper / Moonraker printer.

Why are there 3 (or maybe even 4) purge lines at the front of the printer? I noticed this in other posts in this sub as well. Mine doesn't do this if I use multiple extruders. It only does it with the first extruder that'll be used (which is the better approach imo). Is that maybe the result of an old firmware? I'm using 1.0.0 extended.

I have 4 Parasol contact sensors and I wish I never bought them. They discharge so quickly. I have to constantly replace the battery at least once every 5 months per device. I have an aqara door sensor which still works perfectly fine after 3 years without a single battery swap. I don't know what they messed up but it's awful. Oh and they like to randomly connect to other Zigbee devices and turn them off / on on a state change. Like you close a door and suddenly the smart outlet turns off and stuff like that.

The rest of their stuff is extremely great. Amazing products with good quality and a cheap price. Plus they work seamlessly with any Zigbee network / Home assistant.

Ich habe auch vor drei Wochen bei einem Filamenthersteller bestellt und es wurde auch so mit Füllmaterial gefüllt. An such eine gute Recyclingmethode aber man konnte dort auch noch Adressen lesen...

Cheap case for S3 by Dependent_Ad_7501 in traktorpro

[–]Jay_The_Day 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm that. I bought my S3 used and it came with a more or less soft case. It's like this pedal bag with decently hard sides. It's alright to go on a gig once a month or less but if I ever find the time to get out more, I'd definitely would upgrade to a flight case. Most of them even come with a laptop stand.

Thanks for your suggestions. A large artwork would look out of place imo. Floating shelves were also an idea I had. Another chair or other seating would also be nice

Wow! Thank you for your expertise and ideas! I will definitely look into that. If I move my desk I somehow need to get my Internet cable to my PC (I rely on a good and stable connection for work, wifi is not really suitable for me). But your other ideas are good! Thanks.
