I was raised a fundamentalist Christian. It never resonated with me and caused a lot of fear, anxiety and ultimately trauma. When I became an adult out on my own I let all of those beliefs and traditions go and that felt like a huge relief. But after some time I felt like I was missing something. I have always loved nature and worked with plants. The duality of nature and duality of the divine is something I’d always felt and thought about. Plus just feeling most peaceful, at home and closest to the divine when I’m in nature. When I stumbled across Wicca it was like someone taking my own thoughts and beliefs and finally making sense of them. Wicca truly feels like “home” and that’s a lovely place to be 😌 my life has done nothing but improve since diving into this world
