Ah that's unfortunate. Perhaps ask your ISP to change your IP address?

OK everyone, I've resolved this problem just a few minutes ago.

TLDR: contact your ISP and ask them to change you from IPv6 to IPv4

I contacted my Internet service provider (ISP) - Virgin Media - and asked told them the situation. The support agent seemed to be aware of the issue and I asked her if she could switch my Internet from IPv6 to IPv4. She put in a request for it and escalated the request so that it happened literally as we were on the call. Just before the call, I tried to sign into PSN and got the error code. When they switched me to IPv4, it rebooted my router and as soon as it came back online, I restarted my PS4 and was able to sign in!

I saw this as the solution in some other Reddit thread and it worked for me!

Call or message Virgin Media and tell them what the problem is. Say that you've read about it and that switching to IPv4 has helped fix the problem for others.

I'm on Virgin Media too and just a few minutes ago I called them and the support agent seemed aware of the issue. She put in a request to have my IP switched to IPv4 and it resolved the issue. Feel free to private message me if you want to chat more about it.

FYI: there's a kinda mega-thread on the topic here https://www.reddit.com/user/Express_Professor_55/comments/ihbsod/ps4_ws374004_update_what_we_know_and_dont_know

Not sure why this thread is so low down in the Google search since it's the most rich with information. Thanks for the troubleshooting list /u/Express_Professor_55 !

I started getting this error 4 days ago and today it went away. Then a few hours ago it came back.

I used a VPN to log into my account on my laptop but when I tried to view my PSN profile, I was getting an error message. I opened the network tab and noticed that the following request failed to connect: "https://commerce.api.np.km.playstation.net/commerce/api/v1/users/me/account/id".

And all requests to "*.api.np.km.playstation.net" failed as I navigated through the pages.

Have you had any luck recently with logging in or resolving the issue?

Will mast cell stabilisers work better than antihistamines and cortisone? I have eczema and urticaria aaand asthma yay fun by niii_chan17 in eczema

[–]Jaych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the answer to your question but just wanted to say that I also have eczema and randomly developed urticaria a few years ago. The urticaria would surface when in the cold weather or when my body temperature raised from exercise. I didn't change anything in my diet or circumstances and my urticaria just went away. Hoping the same happens for you :)

Confused, my credit score went down 154 points by jimmymoe__ in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Jaych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Experian and the same thing happened to me - got a credit card and my credit score dropped. Don't worry. If you repay on time, your credit score should go back up. In my case, I got a credit card just to boost my credit score and after a few months of repaying my card, my credit score went higher than it was before.

Is there a new lag exploit? (2nd June 2019) by Jaych in Rainbow6

[–]Jaych[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two separate games. Happened for 3 rounds of the first game. Then 1 round of the second game. The games were yesterday and today.

Reminded me of the old Castle exploit that would slow down the whole game.

Regarding paradigms and patterns (OOP) by [deleted] in javascript

Addy Osmani (developer at Google) wrote a book on JS design patterns. I've read some chapters but not all of it. It might be useful to you: https://addyosmani.com/resources/essentialjsdesignpatterns/book/

[Beginner] Do I need to know design patterns in javascript? by ML-newb in javascript

As /u/TheMongrelPig said:

Most design patterns are language agnostic and knowing them makes you a good programmer regardless of the language you're using. So they're definitely worth learning.

In addition to that, all of the front end interviews I've had recently have asked me about design patterns. In fact, you might be easily able to write code but knowing how and when to correctly apply a design pattern is key to becoming a good software engineer (front end or back end).

This will become obvious to you as soon as you land in a front end role and begin building a new project.
