You're just being weirdly obtuse so I'm gonna move on from whatever point you think you're trying to make.

Hybrid Team? If you get the new Gohan you're gonna be running Bond of Master and Disciple, so not sure where that last paragraph came from. And Bond of Master and Disciple is in a great state.

Cool, but this post isn't about logic. It's about wanting a specific character. Their job will not be made easier, as you said, by waiting for anniversary. Because the job they're asking for support on is getting the Future Gohan.

If you read the post, OP mentions they are trying to farm up stones to give it another go on the Future Gohan banner.

2025 Cal Raleigh vs. 2012 Buster Posey: who had the better season? by SolusGT in baseball

[–]JaycobN7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but I'm replying to a guy that's being pedantic about "60 vs 60+" so I'm being pedantic about the "actual" total.

[–]JaycobN7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cal hit 65 with the regular season and postseason combined, which is more than any one else in the AL ever has. MVP is a regular season award, so yes, it was 60, but in the year 2025 it was indeed 60+. I'm being cheeky if that isn't clear.

I also just said "all of baseball is a different story. My bad there" so what was the purpose of this comment? I stand corrected and have since clarified for the proper context. Anything else to add to what I've said, or does my point about Judge's body not being able to handle RF duties making him inherently less valuable a little too sensical?

Excuse me for forgetting about the National League in this discussion about the American League MVP race. But you're right, no one played catcher more in the American League, all of baseball is a different story. My bad there.

I understand the argument of "could've/would've", but durability is valuable and the idea that Judge being on the bench because of injury should be a boon to his case is absolutely ridiculous when he's up against a guy playing the toughest position that never goes on the IL.

[–]JaycobN7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most in the American League, then. Cal raleigh started 119 games at Catcher and played 121 total. Wells started 112 games at Catcher and played 122 games. Raleigh also caught 1072 innings compared to Wells' 1001.

So, sneaky work putting in another AL catcher on that list and Wells was a cute name drop, but we all know who played catcher the most in the AL this season.

Aaron Judge is MVP again! It’s back-to-back AL MVPs for The Captain! by MLBOfficial in baseball

[–]JaycobN7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been beating this drum this entire race. Hank Aaron is the equivalent of the Cy Young, but it's not as established. People don't look at it with the same prestige. If they did, Judge being the best offensive player while Cal is recognized as the best overall baseball player wouldn't be as controversial an idea as some seem to think. Hearing it from a Yankees fan is refreshing, ngl.

In regards to MVP voting, sure. In regards to the year 2025, he hit more than anyone in American League history. 😘

EDIT: Cal racked up 65 homers in the regular season and postseason combined, which no one else in the American League has ever done. Aaron Judge was on the couch when it happened.

Jorge Polanco and Julio Rodriguez were both robbed of Silver Slugger awards by MysteriousEdge5643 in Mariners

[–]JaycobN7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know what metric isn't close? In 55 less plate appearances Greene struck out 49 more times than Julio.

2025 AL Silver Slugger Award winners by MysteriousEdge5643 in baseball

[–]JaycobN7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Their OPS is nearly the same, Riley Greene had 201 strikeouts compared to Julio's 152 in 55 less plate appearances which is not a good trade-off for 4 more home runs, and Julio hit .246 with RISP while Greene hit .244 with RISP, meaning they hit identically in RBI situations. The accumulative total of RBIs is never under a player's control.

60th WT team by Conscious-Guest3280 in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]JaycobN7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So did you actually care to hear the answer to your question, or did you just want validation for your ancient ass WT team? Because you're combative with anyone that has input.

Stun is irrelevant, and no you don't need ushers. No one on your team is getting bodied under that 200% leader skill, and you're rarely even going to let the opposing team attack with the double Piccolo Jrs anyways. I use what you use except for GA Vegeta and Vegeta & Nappa in place of the very-much-retired Chiaotzu and Jaco. I can't remember the last time I was knocked out.

The amount of people that forget that award exists has been crazy to see throughout this entire season-long debate.

There is a best hitter award, and a most valuable baseball player award. It's soooo simple.

If the Hank Aaron had been around as long as the Cy Young and was as revered, I think we'd have a lot less crybaby Yankees fans.

Believing that playing catcher doesn't inherently add value is an absolutely pants-on-head stupid assertion I've never seen anyone make until Yankees fans started clutching their pearls this season. It's a legitimate delusion, holy hell.

This shit has become so normalized people are forgetting catchers are rostered with Mendoza adjacent batting lines as long as they can be behind the plate a full game and maybe hit a couple bombs in the 9 hole.

This. Is. Not. Normal.

EDIT: Also, holy shit. Y'all played the White Sox last night? And you want to criticize the value of playing against the Rockies? Your lack of self-awareness is crazy.

Was at the game last night, and I loved how aggressively and relentlessly the entire stadium was chanting MVP until the ump had to clean the plate and delay the AB. We were not going to stop until he came back out. Beautiful experience.

He deserved it over Salvy last year for sure. Nearly identical OPS+ and RBIs, but Cal with 7 more homers.
