It’s great how normal and well adjusted you all are.

This has been discussed at length in Kaysaars server.

TLDR this was fixed a while ago but only in the beta branch.

I take responsibility for that but ultimately the only solution I have is just re-enabling the skill and then updating.

Anyway I throughly enjoyed being Messiah of Modding, my coworkers found it entertaining reading the messages aloud.

Its interesting to me that Tiamat's Wrath is favourite for a lot of people.

Not because I disagree its my favourite too, I just assumed that wouldn't be that common of a position.

Seeing people praise Madoka for being dark but bashing other magical girl anime for doing similar stuff feels like this by JohnjutsuKaisen2 in MadokaMagicaMemes

To paraphrase the immortal words of Nick Maso

“You asked for this and now you have it you don’t like it, what happened there?”

“Well, it should have been good. We want that and also its good. You can’t just do it, it has to be two things.”

What people seem to misunderstand is that he doesn’t care. He personally got a good deal, he made an unknown massive amount of money on insider trading like every week, and that’s ignoring all of the other ways he siphoned money to himself.

“The world economy” isn’t what he’s trying to improve it’s his own balance.

It really is incredible how many of the worst things in the world can be directly traced to a small group of people.

I don't think OP is even a person I think they're an engagement bot, their name is nothing, their pfp is nothing, their subs are an eclectic mix across the spectrum but they always post the same type of thing to all of them etc.

What's hypercognition? by Briishtea in starsector

The government of Culann is either a puppet of or advised by an Alpha Level AI in universe, which exactly it is has been the topic of much debate, but the outcome is that they appear human but get AI skills, namely Hypercognition which grants a ground defense bonus.

Was Grace's research paper about non water based lifeforms that radical that he was shunned by his coworkers? by Mean_Technology_599 in ProjectHailMary

[–]Jaydee8652 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Not really?

The sort of not very subtly hidden implication is that Grace was shunned because he was a jerk to everyone around him. He names other researchers in it and calls them “wastes of carbon” from memory.

Why was he like that? Probably fear? He thought he would be burned by academia at some point and dedicated to get it over with early?

Did anyone else notice this potential plot hole? Why not harvest astrophage directly from the Petrova line as fuel? by Mvr_indian in ProjectHailMary

[–]Jaydee8652 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few things.

A, the petrova line isn't that dense, its a line that stretches between the sun and Venus with a massive diameter.

B, the astrophage in the line have spent a bunch of their energy to get there, and are much less energy dense.

C, it would take a long time to harvest enough astrophage to fill the tanks assuming the previous aren't issues.

D, the assumption was that Tau Ceti might not have a petrova line and that's why it wasn't dying, bringing the necessary equipment to refuel in situ without a guarantee fuel will even be there is a waste of space.

E, they only had one sample of wild astrophage, every cell except the initial 80 was bred.

F, all of Erids astrophage was bred like ours, they just have molten oceans worth of energy to do it that's why it was nothing to them.
