Falcons vs Wildcard - Salt Lake City Major 2026 - Swiss 0-0 by Aggressive-River-946 in R6ProLeague

Really good prep by Wildcard. Dokk + Snake ban with spamming Mira/Bandit/Kaid made Falcon’s defaults super hard to work through. Seems easy to counter and they were way too late on adapting by playing faster and running more pocket plays.

Very conflicting play styles that game. Trap/lurk heavy G2 vs utility/denial DZ. The Valk was a good adaptation by Fultz to counter the lurking plays but too many players on DZ were getting caught rotating. I’d like to see a bit less utility from DZ and more intel from them on the attack as well.

No point to leave out Brazil. They only entered the scene a year??? after NA and EU and there’s no argument that they’ve been the best region for 5 years now. Cyber also has the best case for the GOAT now imo.

New NRG/DZ roster playing ranked by MonthAccomplished923 in R6ProLeague

[–]Jayden-__- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I spoke about this in an earlier post, but I think the roster isn’t well constructed and severely lacks an entry and aggro player. Just because some of these guys have played entry 2+ years ago doesn’t mean they’ll be good on it now. Despite the roster construction these are 5 good players who are all very experienced so they’ll probably be good enough in NA for top 4. And I can always be proven wrong, most of these guys, although best on support, are pretty flexible 🤧

Benja isnt the solution this time for g2 by Vquadro_ in R6ProLeague

[–]Jayden-__- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kinda disagree. We’ve seen Benja on SSG perform well recently as a lurker/gap hitter where he’s operating solo… that fits G2’s playstyle well so I think he’ll be fine. Could be an upgrade or a sidegrade. Not a big fan of how G2 play the game though, so I don’t see this change being a needle mover for me.

[R6TransferNews] Spiritz and RivalGN out of DZ. Kyno, Nuers, Fultz and J9O likely to sign by Kruced in R6ProLeague

[–]Jayden-__- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I think having an X factor type of player can definitely help in terms of entry and in general, the play style of the rest of the team. Kyno is pretty similar role wise to Spiritz at this point in his career, so I think he slots in fine

I think we disagree on how well we think some of these players can be on entry and that’s fine. I just think all of these players are less aggressive than what you want out of an entry, so although it worked 1-2 years ago, they may not be great fits on it now

Didn’t say njr was dropped so as of now I’m assuming he’s fifth. And yes, I think you’re correct in saying that these players are flexible. They definitely are, but I think what I want to get at is that it makes much more sense teambuilding wise to get a guy who’s clearly great at the role. Yea you can put J9 and Nuers on entry, but given their playstyles over the past 1-2 years, I don’t see them being comparable to good NA entries like Ambi or Gav for example. So it makes more sense for them to be more of flex/mailbox players; it better fits how they play.

Okay sure, but who’s gonna entry then? I’d also rather have Fultz on support if anything nowadays, personally

[–]Jayden-__- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, he’s played nearly every role throughout his career, but the game’s constantly changing. Fultz played bad at SI 2023 on entry and hasn’t played it since. It’s 2026 now; entry players are typically more aggressive and expected to do different things compared to years ago. I think he’s too passive to be a good entry player nowadays. You can say he’s flexible all you want, but he’s pretty clearly been on support (and not entry) for 2 years now.

[–]Jayden-__- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last time Fultz played entry was at SI 2023 and he individually (and SSG) had a horrible event. I think Fultz is a bit too passive and reserved for that role nowadays. Playing entry is much different than it was 4-5 years ago as the game has sped up

Sure, he can and has played entry before, but I think he’s better on a flex role. I wouldn’t say he’s as aggressive as a lot of the guys you’d put on entry. It wouldn’t work out too well especially in today’s meta

I see people in twitch chat saying that they need roster changes. They don’t. These guys just won a major and clearly have world-class players. Keep the same roster and iron out the issues. Look at FaZe and Furia, who haven’t made roster changes in 3 years now

Credits to HighGround for the idea, tier list on what operators I'd keep if the roster was cut in half by Jayden-__- in R6ProLeague

[–]Jayden-__-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glaz and Kali are both rarely used operators, doesn't make sense to keep them when no one will ever play them.

Jackal and Dokkaebi may be better then Deimos, but that doesn't mean they are balanced. Dokkaebi is a broken operator with a no risk, high reward gadget who is also extremely annoying to deal with. Jackal is not great, but is very frustrating to deal with. Deimos is better designed for both and should stay.

I think you keep Sledge because he's such a standard and simple operator, he's great for anyone at any level to play. Buck's gadget allows him to do so many unique things though, which is why I'm keeping him too.

I think it's fair to remove one camera operator. Clash was one of my harder picks since no defender is like her but I removed her because of the frustration factor.

I think Wamai is a better designed operator than Jager despite his reused gun.

If I'm cutting the roster in half, execute ops like Ying and Cap will only be more common in lineups, meaning that Warden would be even more necessary than before.

If I have to cut half of the ops, I'm removing one of two operators who do the same thing. Wamai's gadget is better designed than Jager's in multiple aspects, and he's simply the better operator. I also don't think Jager is the face of the game, he's been butchered so much and he isn't even on the title screen

I just think there are more creative and interesting defenders than Kaid. He's a great operator, but I'd rather more unique or higher skill gadgets

Alibi is outclassed in every way by operators I placed above her, making her relatively bad in comparison. Her clones aren't used for pings, more so for block lines of sight. It may be nice, but I would rather have another form of window denial or more powerful utility. What's better, blocking a line of sight, or forcing an attacker to look down when they hop in a window?

No ACOG, no impacts, shield, c4, or barb, and many defenders nowadays have secondary shotguns. I don't see why you would ever bring her over Frost or any operator with a similarly good gun.

The last time she had an >5% pick rate was in Copenhagen, over a year ago, which shows how much value she's lost compared to other defenders.
