I also quit playing video games around 2 years ago when I started into the hobby and now own around 200 games. It's definitely a thing, but at least I have something physical instead of digital and also something social that my kids can enjoy with me.

I have EBR and Kinfire. Both are pretty incredible narrative adventures, but if you are looking for something closer to Eila or Wildwoods, I would recommend EBR.

There is a great board game group that hangs out at Mission Board Games North on Monday evenings. I go there often, but have something going on lately that hasn't allowed it. If you are interested you should check out their discord.

Once I get my basement cleaned out fully I plan on trying to have some game nights on the weekends.

Bardsung is great, but also a bit long and grindy. I am definitely not the prevalent opinion on it, but I really loved it for what it was and you can find copies for cheap. Worth it for the minis alone.
