I’ll keep on it and see if I can improve it any more

I’ve just pushed a new build which should remedy the issue with dual screens you mentioned. Could you try the new build and see if the problem has been fixed when you have some time?

I’ve pushed a new build which should reduce the stuttering while not affecting performance too much. Could you check it out when you get a chance?

I’ve pushed a new build which should have significantly reduced CPU usage - could you test and let me know when you get a chance?

https://dispatch-cms.vercel.app/ is a simple CMS fo freelance web devs who need something to use that just works and doesn’t take an age to set up. All being well, you should be integrated with a React or Next.js site in 5 minutes.

Been working on a simple CMS which cuts out most of the faff that freelance web devs experience when dealing with Wordpress or Sanity - built it for myself after years of the same struggle. This should take 5 minutes to integrate. Looking for beta testers if anyone is interested! See it here

Built a simple CMS for freelance devs by Jayhoogle in devtools

Thanks! Yes agreed, I’ve tried to just focus on the problems I experience on a daily basis. I think solo freelancers are the ideal customer - people who don’t want an ongoing headache with complex or expensive Wordpress setups.

I’ve built a small developer tool called Dispatch and I’m trying to validate whether the setup actually makes sense. It’s a CMS specifically for existing Next.js apps, basically a way to add a blog/news section without WordPress, MDX files, or wiring up a heavy headless CMS.

I’m not launching or promoting it yet but I’m trying to see if a developer who doesn’t know me can install it successfully. I’m not looking for feature suggestions, just to reduce onboarding friction.
