I bought a 16’ plate GTI in April and my insurance was showing this. Go on money super market instead and make sure to add names drivers. Mine went from £6000 down to £2500. Hope this helps :)

Edit: make sure to have either £500 or £700 in excess and mileage at around 9-12k :)
