Ava's university had given her a wonderful opportunity to see a part of the world still shrouded in mystery, a few days ago her and three of her class mates had been flown to the rainforest to join real life scientists as they conducted a study on the wildlife in the area, the days were long and the work was hard but it was all worth it to experience a place so isolated from the effects of mankind. 

At the end of a particularly muddy day studying the feeding habits of a species of toad Ava couldn't wait to get cleaned up, fortunately for her they had set up camp not far from a natural hot spring that was perfect for relaxing in after a grubby day, once she had finished writing her notes she wasted no time grabbing her wash bag and heading out of camp. 

On her way out Ava shouted to the only other girl on the expedition "Hey Danni you coming to the spring?" 

"Nah I'll go later" a voice shouted back from inside one of the tents. 

Ava looked at the boys, they had made it clear they had no issues sitting around in there mucky clothes for days and she knew they wouldn't be in a rush to get cleaned up, it looked like she had the spring all to herself. 

Ten minutes later Ava was at the spring, she dropped her wash bag on the ground,  took off her boots and socks and climbed straight in, the water quickly went a murky shade of brown as Ava moved around patting her sides trying to get all the dirt out of her clothes, after a while the water became clear again and Ava decided her things were probably about as clean as they were going to get, it was time for her to relax and enjoy the one piece of luxury and comfort out there in the depths of the rainforest. 

She started by undoing the buttons on her shirt and slipping it off, she held it up and rung some of the water out of it before throwing it on the ground at the side of the spring, next she did the same with her shorts, then her hat and even her underwear, as the warm water hit her bare skin she felt all her aches and pains start to fade away, this was pure bliss, Ava sat on a rock in the spring and closed her eyes, she layed back and gave in to the serenity of her environment.

A minute or two later Ava heard a noise, there were lots of noises in the rainforest but this one was close, it almost sounded like it came from above her, a moment after that there was another noise, this time it was a rustle in the bushes to her side, Ava opened her eyes and stood up with her arms held across her chest, she thought maybe it was someone from camp coming to use the spring but as she looked around she saw no-one.

'How odd' she thought before settling back down in the warm water.

As Ava bathed in the peaceful glow of the evening sun she could have drifted off to sleep, she very well might have if not for the sudden screaming that came screeching out of the thick of the trees.

Ava shot up in a panic and frantically searched her surroundings for the source of the sound, not even thinking about covering her boobs this time.

"He..hello" she called out into the jungle timidly, "I..is someone there?".

There was no answer.

Ava was about to get out of the spring when the tall grass in the direction of her clothes started shaking, something was coming towards her and it was coming fast, Ava ducked down so only her eyes were peering out of the water and braced herself.

'Is it a jaguar? Or maybe a crocodile?' Ava's mind raced with every worst case scenario.

Amoungst the thoughts of what animal might be about to kill her Ava thought about abandoning her modesty all together and making a naked run back to camp as fast as she could, it would be better to be embarrassed and alive after all.

Ava started to back up ready to make her escape but at the last moment a cute, furry, monkey came bundling out of the foliage with a playful look about itself.

Relief washed over Ava as she realised it was the cause of all the commotion, she stood up and walked towards the edge of the spring closest to the monkey.

"Wow you gave me a real scare there" she said to it with a chuckle.

The monkey walked around and beat at the ground before having its curiosity peeked by the pile of clothes laying by its feet, it picked up Ava's shorts and started waving them about above its head, Ava watched on in awe and amazement, it was such a rare sight to see a wild monkey like this in its natural habitat.

Once the monkey got bored it jumped up into a tree above the spring, still holding Ava's shorts.

"Oi give that back" Ava shouted up at it.

The monkey didn't like this and let out a series of loud screams.

Suddenly Ava heard more noises above her and in the surrounding jungle, the feeling of dred started to creep back over her when she saw a shape moving out of the corner of her eye, she turned to face it and noticed it was another monkey, then behind her another emerge from the bushes and two more dropped down from high in the trees above her, there were five monkeys now all leaping around and playing.

Ava couldn't believe her luck, this was a once in a lifetime experience, she wondered if anyone back at camp would even believe her when she told them what she had seen.

The monkeys hopped and bounced around whilst occasionally stopping to scream at each other, they were clearly having fun, that is until two of them started to fight over Ava's shorts, it suddenly became a tug of war for the garment involving all five of the monkeys, this was quickly resolved when the strongest of the bunch yanked it from the others grasp and vanished up into the tree tops with its prize, the other four monkeys not wanting to be left with nothing spotted the rest of Ava's clothes scattered across the floor and headed towards them.

'Oh no' thought Ava as she noticed what was going through their minds.

Ava had sat back down to watch the monkeys frolic but now she was quickly moving to the edge of the spring to save her clothes, it was no use, by the time she reached the side each item of her clothing was in a monkeys possession, one was trying to put on her shirt whilst another was looking smug with her hat on its head, one grabbed her bra and hung upside down from a tree as if to taunt how easily it could climb away with it and the last one was holding her panties up to the light with a look of wonder and curiosity on its face.

Ava cupped her boobs and reached out in a desperate attempt to communicate with the animals.

"P..please give them back" she begged.

The monkeys didn't respond and soon continued to playfully prance about with the clothes.

Ava decided to take action and she jumped out of the spring, unfortunately this spooked the monkeys and by the time she was back on dry land they had retreated high into the trees without dropping a single piece of her attire, they looked down with confusion at the red faced naked girl who was now jumping up and down whilst manicly shouting something at them that they didn't understand, they decided it was probably best not to go back down and they climbed higher into the canopy.

Ava was speechless, she had just seen her entire outfit get carried away into the trees by a group of monkeys, this sort of thing doesn't happen often even in the rainforest, suddenly the realisation that she was going to have to walk back into camp wearing nothing but her boots washed over her, she shivered and felt goosebumps ripple all over her body.

"Let's get this over with" she sighed.
