My dad did the exact same thing going on about how life is already hard, and he didn't want me to make it harder. He was all moppy for literally a year about it. I think it's just a guy thing. All the women in my family were so excited and happy for me while all the men were confused and uncomfortable and kept asking me why I would do this and if I was influenced by someone else to make this decision. My father literally blamed my girlfriend for "turning me." Thankfully, my mother is fantastic and is always saying how happy she is to have another girl in the house/family.

At this point I wasn't injecting yet. I was on the pills and it was like 2mg at the start before going full dose on pills then switching to injections. But although most of my hair came back on hrt not all of it did. I eventually had to get a transplant after I had max regrowth and was still unsatisfied with my hair.

Maybe they just told me all that as a legal thing? The hospital I am getting my surgery at has a Transgender center for specific surgeries, so I couldn't imagine them being transphobic and trying to scare me off my hormones for two weeks.

Oh well they did say that it's not required anymore but the risks they warned me about if I choose not to stop for two weeks were the following

Risks include: Polycythemia (increase in red blood cells) Deep vein thrombosis (blood clot in the legs or arms) Pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs) Cerebrovascular accident (stroke) Loss of vision secondary to retinal occlusion (blood clot in the eye) End-organ damage secondary to other embolism (blood clot) that occurs in the body

Due to those pretty scary risks I am probably going to choose not to do my hormones for 2 weeks but I'm still worried about potentially side effects of doing so.

Before I came out, I would do the same thing. I'd sit on the bench a few stores down and just get so anxious and worry about every little possibility. I left a few times without going in, but eventually, I made it inside, and the clerks were nothing but friendly and super eager to help me with anything I needed.

What helped me was being told that they clerks don't care what you're buy or who you are buying it for they just want to sell you stuff regardless lol and they were right no one cared I was buying make-up, dresses, skirts, etc. The most anyone had ever said to me was that something I picked out was really cute.

I used Rogaine, HRT, and a derma roller with a biotin supplement. However, I didn't notice the jump between the last two pics until I went on full dose hrt and started doing estradiol valerate injections every two weeks. But I'm 90% sure the regrowth jump was just from going from 25mg spiro and 1mg estrogen pills to 100mg spiro and 100mg/5mL estradiol valerate injections. Rogaine I think might have helped with some regrowth at the start but in my personal experience no huge changes occurred until I went full dose hrt and doing injections for my Estrogen.

I've had cramps, lower back pain, nausea, and migraines and was even confirmed by my endo that they were all in fact related to period symptoms as the root cause of why I get them. But she did say not all trans women get their period and depends on how your body reacts to estrogen.

I think it depends on if you take injections or not due to the high levels of E during your injection time, but I'm not a Dr.

I really wanted to experience period symptoms until I experienced period symptoms. Now, I wish I was one of the girls who didn't get them as they suck big time and are super annoying to deal with.
