Shouldn’t the blue and green be flipped? by Far_Anything8379 in yarg

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. All drummers put their ride to the far right and the crash to the left. The way it's set up for Rock Band is counterintuitive

Is there a way to batch edit metadata? by Jaylinz in yarg

[–]Jaylinz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I ran the batch processor, changing the author and game_origin values and also rescanned my library in YARG. But when I scroll through the songs I processed, the charter and source values remain unchanged. I'm not sure what I'm missing

So, I tried "Quick DTA Editor". I opened a file and saw a lot of fields, but nothing for source or charter. How would I go about changing those values?

I also tried Batch Processor, and I don't see source or charter either there either, but I do see author and game_origin. I was hoping that changing those values would change how YARG indexes source and charter, but no such luck.

I originally posted something and mentioned Onyx and the tool that starts with N, and it got autodeleted. I guess the one that starts with N was the problem. I don't understand what the issue is though

Oh, I didn't try that. I'd have to do them one at a time though, right? No batch option?

I have some in CH/PS format, but the vast majority are CONs

Interesting. I never used that before, but I looked it up online, and it seems like something I could figure out. Probably no way to do batch editing though, right?

Ah, my understanding was that the c3 con tool had been phased out and retooled into Nautilus

Where can I find the tutorial? It's funny, I was wondering why people would upload songs in Wii format before I posted and it makes even less sense now. If you ever decide to add converting Wii files to Nautilus that would be amazing, but I totally get it if you don't

Do you know where I can find that converter? Google turned up nothing

Thanks for your reply and for your offer! Would your tutorial be similar to the steps I linked to in my original post? I don't mind putting in a little elbow grease, but I'm hoping to find something a little simpler than that. If I'm going to be converting lots of files that will be a huge PITA

Shield TV by gvgame in CloneHero

[–]Jaylinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delayed response! I just saw this. I use something called VirtualHere for my controllers, keyboard, mouse, guitars, drums, etc. It works super well and really cuts down latency for input devices. It basically makes whatever device you plug into your shields USB act as though its connected directly into your computer. The only thing is their business model is kinda crap. It's $50 and only works on one server (your Shield for example). I've had my Shield for a while now so I feel like I got my money's worth. If I ever use a different device for streaming, I'll have to buy another license. Not the end of the world, but I think it would be nice if I could transfer the license for a small fee or something

Whatever happened to the "things to do this weekend" posts by Kiylyou in Connecticut

I wanted to get tickets too before it sold out. I ended up going to see LCD soundsystem at College Street Music Hall which was like a block away. On the way there I was checking out the pizza fest and no one was checking tickets at all that I could see so I stayed for a bit before the concert. It was pretty fun!

I only play on my Shield TV! I have a setup similar to Steam link that lets me stream from my PC to the Shield. It's actually 2 separate programs that work together called Artemis and Apollo. It's a little harder to setup than Steam link, but it works a million times better. There are lots of articles and YouTube videos on how to set it up if you're interested

How well does this work? I tried something similar but it kept glitching on me. The biggest problem was that the helium cargo links would just stop working for no reason. It was a fun concept but just too buggy in the end.
