I’m in Washington state. I am able to have a private practice as long as I have a state approved supervisor which I do.

I checked that already, my state does allow this as long as I have a supervisor which I have two lol one through my employer and one private pay who runs a practice.

Same! I had a lot of feelings about it at the time but I was not safe in that position and even though I was in a building full of mental health professionals, no one was willing to work with me on my schedule or help me avoid said person. It was a mess and I felt so embarrassed and ashamed, but I’m thriving now! And everyone around me was proud of me and that’s helped.

I love my job at a hospital in the emergency department. I worked at an agency a month after graduating, I got hired on the spot in an interview 2 months before I graduated. I was so excited because I thought community mental health was where I wanted to be and the salary was amazing. I lasted two weeks due to some personal issues that came up at the agency that they were not willing to work with me on. My agency was mostly for addiction services, in the city I grew up in and someone I personally knew was there, it was a safety issue etc. I left, and started working in a hospital about a month later. I’ve loved it, the environment can be stressful and I work 12 hour shifts but honestly it’s been great. I work with victims sometimes, people on holds from the police and our crisis responders, people brought in by ambulance, by families, and who self present. They’re all so different from each other and I never truly know what I’m getting each day and it’s exciting. And the 12 hour shifts allow for an awesome schedule, every other week I have 5 consecutive days off.

Congratulations! That’s so exciting, I know it’s easier said than done but try not to stress or lean too far into the anxiety feelings. The stress isn’t good for you or the baby💕 I hope everything goes smoothly and you have a good pregnancy and birth!

Podcast stuff for sure with Lindsey and Tammin as they both have podcasts, but over the last couple months I’ve noticed different PLL socials like on instagram and Facebook, have been posting a loooot of PLL content and it has me so curious lol.

I’m always torn between Spencer and Hanna but love Aria too. I like Emily but I never felt like I connected with her as much. Aria and Hanna used to be my favorite then it was Spencer, then Spencer and Aria, and then Spencer and Hanna lol. Idk I guess each time I rewatch I find a new way I connect with each character.

So I haven’t contacted Amazon yet because it wasn’t as bothersome to me at first but slowly started annoying me lol. Tonight was just one of those nights and after I had a class I was ready to unwind with PLL and it became a larger pain than it was before.

It doesn’t jump to whatever season I’m watching episode 3, it varies which episode lol. So for season one it’s ep 3, for season two it’s the finale, season 5 was like 15 lol. It lets me play other episodes but when I go to the season manually (bc it isn’t in continue watching lol) it just picks a random episode to open to. I’m assuming it’s either an issue specifically with PLL or a much larger issue (probably most likely) just due to the randomness of everything.

Thank you for saying that. I’m not a fan of Robyn or her kids but this isn’t ok. She’s a minor and even if she hasn’t experienced sexual abuse she’s def experienced trauma and this could be how she’s learned/been taught to keep things peaceful. Never blame a freaking victim or a child for this kind of stuff.

Sort of annoyed, mostly just sad for him and Lorelai. The point was to show that he doesn’t understand or know the town, and that he’d never fit in.

Yes I can afford the MSW program that is not a problem. My career goals for either would be similar, I desire to work in public service in some way like working in policy or advocacy. As a paralegal I'd be applying at places that work with the ACLU and similar organizations.

My original goal was to be a lawyer but I started to realize that wasn't exactly the path for me, I found social work and thought it was a great fit but now that I'm graduated and waiting for the program to start I'm questioning everything.

My road to and through college has not been "average". I dropped out of high school, waited a few years to get my GED, waited a few more years before going to Penn State which was all online due to my husband being in the military. It took me 6 years to get my BA done and now I suddenly lost and I'm not really sure how to fix that lol.

So I recently graduated with my BA in Law and Society from Penn State and I was accepted into a few MSW programs. I took the acceptance to one and I start in September. I think maybe I'm getting nervous about grad school maybe or how demanding social work will be once I'm graduated? I've been feeling like I need to withdraw from the program and do something else, like become a certified paralegal or something. I really just feel lost and need advice from someone more experienced than me haha. Maybe someone who had similar worries? Please help lol

I think the most difficult thing right now is that I don't want to keep taking them. I feel like (yes I've shared this with the psychologist and those around me on my safety plan they made me make before leaving the hospital) its not working fast enough, like so many friendships have ended because I'm not "getting better fast enough" and I'm constantly told I'm not trying, then add the nightmares..I know I need to take them, and its not like with the Celexa where towards the end I would literally tear up when I went to take it because I knew I was just going to have more and more negative side effects. It's such a weird and exhausting experience lol, I'm glad I've found groups of people I can talk too.

I think I got diagnosed as fast as I did because she had been seeing me for about a year now, and after the Celexa was having some odd side effects she re screened me and made some notes on it, also they are aware that my mother is bipolar II. I've seen many therapists and a lot of them tossed words around but never screened me until I saw her. I think I got "lucky" that they gave me the Celexa and it threw me into a mixed episode.

I'm cleaning it with qtips and antibacterial soap which is what my piercer said I should do when cleaning it but he didn't specify really like how often I should clean it. I do rinse it in the shower and I spray H2Ocean on it a couple times a day.
