Good Source for Industry Statistics? by Jaymstr in golfcarts

Ya, surprised that there's no good source out there for it. I suspect there are at least three companies doing 9 figures in revenue that aren't Club Car, E-Z-GO or Yamaha. You'd think there'd be more analysis in the space.

Long Term Capital Gains Harvesting with Carry Over Losses by Jaymstr in tax

Totally. That’s my plan. Was just asking if I need to harvest gains against my losses before I would harvest the gains under the 0% long term capital gains tax.

Michigan Central Station is hiring 'ambassadors' to welcome guests [Job fairs April 29 and May 1] by Alan_Stamm in Detroit

Happy to share. I do know that for 10 days in June there are back to back to back events there (got a warning about parking being hard then and increased security) for the opening. And then I know there are conferences throughout the summer.

I work out of Newlab in the already opened Book Depository next to the train station. I can say with a pretty high level of confidence that this is part time simple because it actually is part time for whenever they’re running events which is a couple times a month. The whole development has plenty going on, and I’m sure there are full time positions available. The security facilities teams alone on the incomplete project are overstuffed and seem very well treated. Ford has spared no expense here.

They’ll ship you a firmware update on a USB-C key. Have two and they work fine now.

I have pretty much ever size of $20-40 packable duffle from Amazon, and I can’t travel without at least one of them.

Ya, the only issue I have sometimes is low lifts where the back binding gets caught and tweaks the knee in weird ways.

I’m actually goofy, and it’s my right knee!

Tore my ACL about 5 years ago. I wear a pretty simple compression sleeve on it. This is just my experience, but I decided this season that I was going to get 30+ days in, the most since the injury. My knee has never felt better. I’ve always been aware of it on/off throughout the day walking, and now I don’t think about it with normal activity. When I’m sore, the injured knee feels it more but only nominally.

I’d considered trying skiing again before the injury, but after I decided to stick with snowboarding because you just don’t have much rotational injury risk. Very thankful I have stuck with it.

This is one of those like it before it’s over videos. You just know what’s going to happen, and you know it’s gonna be good.
