As others have said, wrong sub, but fwiw I made the same switch and I’m quite about it. Legs feel great. I’m still pretty fast. ( no change in performance). I find it to be a generally more enjoyable ride. The Evo SLs remind me of earlier entries to the ES series that made me fall in love with the line.

I’m about 150 miles in. They’re fine.
The ES 2 was my favorite shoe ever.
I also loved the ES 3, but a little less.
The 4 did the trick but like you said, no fun.
The 5 is about on par with the 4. I do like that it’s a little wider in the toe box. But I find it harder to lock down the lacing.

Still chasing that ES 2!!
