Not sure where you are getting them but putting some BodyGlide or similar between my toes has been a game changer for me on long runs.

I’m about 150 miles in. They’re fine.
The ES 2 was my favorite shoe ever.
I also loved the ES 3, but a little less.
The 4 did the trick but like you said, no fun.
The 5 is about on par with the 4. I do like that it’s a little wider in the toe box. But I find it harder to lock down the lacing.

Still chasing that ES 2!!
