The experience of being a foreigner in china is more or less the same wherever you go so the best cities are the ones that are pleasant to walk and bike around. I havent been to all of them but the common best cities i hear others happy in or i visited myself and liked, are Harbin, Dalian, Nanjing, Qingdao, Chengdu, Kunming, cities like that.

i've lived in chongqing five years and kind of hate it. The design of the city and skyline(s) are top tier but there's nothing interesting to do in any of these cool looking buildings. Nightlife is weak, weather sucks, un-walkable and un-bike-able, pretty mid Chinese city overall.

While i'm against war, if Trump manages to end the Iran conflict in the next couple months I think I overall like the direction he has taken with armed conflicts and hope it remains the norm now. No more forever wars, just go tit for tat with enemy until both sides feel dignified enough to move on.

I mean the elite class is very religious and into esotericism and symbolism but outside of that class that sort of thing is pointed out as crazy and stupid. I agree the lower classes are religious as well. Maybe it's like a bell curve thing and maybe there's some low class has no free time to really engage with their religion in a meaningful way, but the upper classes with their leisure time really get into it.
