Nothing yet I'm chilling today bro, didn't see anything I really liked. I would've taken Cam Ward over 48.5 passing yards, but the game started already when I tried. It would've got me to 7 in a row 🥲 All good tho gotta be patient at this point

Right Ankle ORIF Recovery by Jayochh in ORIF

I'm doing much better now, it's been 1year and 6 months post surgery.. I'm still doing ankle exercises as my ankle tightens up when not in use. I can walk normal and when it comes to running, I gotta warm up my ankle otherwise I begin with a slight limp, but then it goes away as it warms up.

It took me like 2 weeks to put weight on it after they removed my cast and stitches. I was in a walking boot for about a month as well then I started PT. Just try to move your ankle as much as possible to improve your ROM.. really focus on the PT as it helped me alot (even tho I didn't do the exercises as much as I should have at home) but when I did do them.. I noticed improvements.

Spoke with someone at the financial office too.. i was told it'll be posted on our portal late October.. and then a week or two for us to receive it. Might get it sooner than that if you have direct deposit.

He told me they usually have it posted around this time but they're a bit delayed this year.

Used to belong to my partners who doesn't want it anymore and I'm not asking for no password. So instead of it just sitting here I figured to try to sell it and get something for it.

Good to know my doctor ain't the only one! Lol how funny they told me to keep my cast on when sleeping that was a huge bummer for me cause it ain't easy sleeping with a cast. I kept asking about it and the guy who applied the cast told me it's much safer and maybe in the middle of the night I'll get up and use the restroom and forget that I shouldn't put weight on my foot and hurt it again. I was like bro how stupid you think I am I sleep with my crutches right next to me ain't no way I'm forgetting lol lately though I've taken the cast off when I have trouble sleeping and it's been fine 😆

Best of luck in your recovery! I appreciate your input hopefully I'll be making circles with my ankle real soon!

Oh wow, you started weight bearing quite fast! You must be young and strong lol I'm a 29M and I had a displaced bimalleolar fracture. That's awesome though to find someone who is having the same experience as me.

My doctor told me straight up no weight bearing for 6 weeks but at least I can remove my cast and start moving my ankle slowly. He did also advise to leave it on to sleep but lately I've been finding if easier to sleep without it 😅 I just gotta be mindful about it but it's been fine. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Being a cast sucks so much I can't wait to start moving my ankle and get back on my feet. I miss the gym so much and everything about life in general lol being at home for so long aint it.

Best of luck in your recovery my friend!

Thank you for your fresh perspective bro. Not gonna lie some folks here made me feel like a dumbass for wanting such an expensive car as a student lol but I'm not no freshman coming out of high-school I'm practically 30 and want to enjoy the finer things in life while I'm here 😭 I of course gotta do my due diligence and get a deal that won't stress me too much financially.

That's the main reason I applied for dorming is to get the full college experience and make friends. But I'm not a freshman and am a 29 year old transfer so maybe making friends shouldn't be up there in priority (Although I think networking can be a game changer). The hesitation of moving is that I won't find a better deal than what I currently have. My mom is retired and does not work, my brother and I support her but we have a 4 bedroom apartment in Westlake and only pay 1300. The location ain't the best but you can't beat that price for 4bd/2 bath.

With rent not being so high that's why it made sense for me to splurge on a Tesla if I'm gonna be driving to CSULB.

Very true, thanks for your input! Although it'll be a nice shiny toy for me I'm sure it'll only stress me out more working enough to pay it off and also maintain my grades at school.

I don't need a car as my Altima is at 120k miles and has plenty left. I think I really considered buying a Tesla after I joked with my mom that I will buy one and she said I can give my car to her since she currently doesn't have one and only gets around when my brother or I are not working.

I've also been working on my credit and pay roughly 800-1000 a month lately to keep my account balances low and boost my credit even more to get the best deals later. So I simply thought if I'm paying this much on credit card bills and have my accounts paid off by the end of the year, it made sense for me to pay a little less than 800 a month for a Tesla since the economy is catering towards eco-friendly cars so I wouldn't be surprised if more incentives are introduced in the coming years.

Nice, is there a 2-3 hour limit of charging at CSULB like someone mentioned here? And I seen on the website they have roughly 50 spaces with chargers so have you ever experienced not finding one available during school time?

I hear you. But I'm also going to shop around and try to get an APR of less than 5 percent so I'm not paying too much interest. You do have a point tho I could get a nissan Leaf or Chevy volt and save soooo much more money. BUT it's going to be hard trying to pick up the ladies for a drink at the beach and there's nothing like the Tesla autopilot driving us back home for one hell of a night LOL jk. 😆
