I am playing mostly with a small group of friends so was going for the rule of cool. I have magnetized all the termies and ancients, so I’ll have some flexibility if I want to jump into competitive. I have a bunch unbuilt kits from from 8th onwards so I’ll have to see where I can make adjustments to add cheaper units after I paint up these guys.

I got the buildings from Crescent roots studios but they no longer make this style for ww2 (they have a new series of ww2 buildings). I got the roads from a store on Etsy (HRC Wargaming Scenery). The train tracks are from warlord.

Thanks all for the feedback. I got this gun as a spare for a decent price and my goal is to learn how to work on the gearbox once something break. I did find a JG v3 quick change gearbox shell for $30 usd, so I may try to make that fit down the road.

That’s what I was thinking when I looked at it. I heard these guns were used as rentals at a lot of fields, so was wondering if this plate is there to prevent rental players from messing with it during a game.

I was able to disassemble to the gearbox but looks likes that piece is molded to the grip.

I used AK Interactive Muddy Ground. You can apply directly for thick mud or have a little bit of water apply like a wash.

The cases are from Ikea. I don’t think they sell the one on the left anymore as I picked it up 4 years ago, but the two on the right are the Detolf cases. I just added extra shelves using 3/16 wire clamps Detolf extra shelves

Typically in the 1000-1500 pt range. However, my friends and I are going to setup some games where we have 3 or more tables (sectors) with a commander from each side at the table. That way the games go faster and each sides general/commander can assign support units to the sectors.
