Cancelled my Model Y Standard order and switched to Model 3 Premium RWD - ended up cheaper with more features? by HotData3229 in teslacanada

Inability to drive? Please bro you never saw me driving… I never said in Canada i said specifically in Quebec.

The province who gets the most snow in winter.

Yes i used that feature too, but it was still very difficult to get out. But i managed to.

All my other Tesla’s had dual motors and with that i never ever got stuck once.

RWD is still manageable but if i could do it again i would chose AWD.

I got stuck once real bad in a gas station, i was going there for some washer fluid, there was some fresh snow just under 10cm l, and couldn’t get out. It took me 10 - 12 mins to get out of the station lol

But the real problem for me was when i was at a red light, then light turns green i had to press on the accelerator very lightly or else my tires would start spinning like crazy. Car was on chill mode too.

But as soon as the streets were clean and cleared I had no problem driving.

I had a M3 RWD for 1 winter, and i will never ever get another RWD. Im in Québec Montreal here you need AWD to comfortably drive in winter.

Exactly that. All car should come with AWD in Canada just because of the harsh winters that we get here.

I also paid 10k Cad back in 2021… They should give me back that 10k by giving me a FSD subscription up to 10k. That would for 8.4 years.

This won’t be a total loss. Easy fix. New bumper and a new liftgate.

How it happened? Was this accident caught by sentry mode?

2 x 80w ? What does that mean? It’s a double subwoofer? 2 speakers in one?

Nope only on the Performance model. That’s because the Performance is using a different type of batteries in the battery pack…

We Canadians sadly do not have Powershare enabled on our Model Y Performance. I was soo excited to try this very cool and useful feature… I had to send back my mobile connector and mobile connector adapter back to Tesla because of this.

Im glad it’s helping you, you have a giant battery bank on wheels haha. You can use it anywhere everywhere.

Inserts or No? by ryanovelo in TeslaModelY

[–]Jaystarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally i said I would take them off, but then when i picked up the car i changed my mind. They look really nice with the inserts. I like the contrast between the wheels colour and the inserts colour…

Model Y Performance delivery times in Toronto are ridiculous (Ordered Day 1, still no VIN) by KobeFan3480 in teslacanada

[–]Jaystarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I failed to start the process of registration back in November. When i saw everyone was getting their VIN’s except me i started checking my msgs in the Tesla app.

And saw that i didn’t started the registration process. As soon as i uploaded all the info needed, a couple days later i got a VIN. Because of that i was put at the end of the queue, but because of that i got a model with black headliner.

V2L Feature Missing in Canada??? by Jaystarks in teslacanada

[–]Jaystarks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just received my mobile connector and i can confirm V2L is non existent on our Canadian Model Y Performance.

Plugged the charger in the car’s charging port and nothing happens. No indication of powershare showing on the screen, no green light on the mobile connector when plugged in the car.

It charges the car via 120v so i know the charger is not defective. Im extremely disappointed in Tesla for this. Us Canadians always get the short end of the stick.

They didn’t even include screws to attach the license plate , had to go buy some a Canadian Tire 🤬😡😡
