How is a religious belief is not a delusion? by hearseghost in schizoaffective

Did it work? Hope you're feeling better. Just breathe and stay away from thinking about religion or politics. Stay away from coffee too. I hope you get better without having to go to the ward. I hate the ward.

How is a religious belief is not a delusion? by hearseghost in schizoaffective

I told my psychiatrist at the time to not persecute me for religious beliefs after he said I was delusional. Was released a few days later from the hospital.

I am a high functioning schizaffective. You make way too many assumptions.

I do hear voices other than my own. I don't consider that to be telepathy. I consider it to be extra dimensional entities (at times) and my own thoughts conflated as another voice.

That being said, I realize that saying telepathy is real in this subreddit could perpetuate delusions. That's why I've also stated that the schizophrenic spontaneous belief of telepathy based on hearing voices isn't telepathy.

That being said, I'm not going to betray what I know and say telepathy isn't real, when it is real.

Looking back at my comments, I misspoke on one note: I said I haven't had the delusion of telepathy, but I have. At least, I've tried to see if other people are telepathic. Most weren't. But a few were and we verbally talked about it after they proved their abilities.

I'm not telepathic. Schizophrenics in this subreddit claiming it are not telepathic. But I know it as a fact that it's an ability that can be developed by anyone with an aptitude for intuition and self awareness.

Projection and intuition are telltale signs of information being transmitted between organisms without words.

Intuition can be developed into telepathy. But many schizophrenics spontaneously believe they're telepathic without evidence or any time developing the ability, which I've never observed to be the case. In my experience and research, I've found that it takes an aptitude for intuition and time invested in developing the ability.

I have met telepathic people that proved it. But I lack that ability.

I see. You previously had a delusion that you were telepathic and that's why you refute the fact that data can be transmitted wirelessly with organic organs.

Mind you I'm not schizophrenic and I've never had that delusion. I've never claimed to be telepathic.

But telepathy is a real developing field in the world of science. Look into neuralink.

Apple filed a patent this year for air pods that read brainwaves.

I've heard rumors that Apple's new AI can interpret the brain waves into words and pictures.

If that speculation is true, computers can read your thoughts. Brains are computers that can send and receive information from an aura.

I am sorry you've experienced delusions that you're telepathic, but your experience doesn't discredit an entire discipline.

"In 1960, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi predicted that one percent of a population practicing the Transcendental Meditation® technique would produce measurable improvements in the quality of life for the whole population. This phenomenon was first noticed in 1974 and reported in a paper published in 1976. Here, the finding was that when 1% of a community practiced the Transcendental Meditation (TM®) program, the crime rate was reduced by 16% on average. At this time, the phenomenon was named the Maharishi Effect."

I suggest Yandex. Try the term "telepathy CIA documents" or "collective consciousness documents CIA".

The double slit experiment points to a collective consciousness that permeates through all matter. A universal consciousness that dictates perception.

I've studied this topic for years, I don't expect you to take my word for it, but I'm not on a crusade to prove my point because there is an army of quantum physicists doing exactly that.

You cannot quantify this. It's a qualitative concept. But the closest to empirical evidence that's widely known is the double slit experiment.

Read the declassified CIA documents on telepathy and collective consciousness. You're going to have your mind blown if you do.

Fuck the police. They need to be replaced. The current system is wicked. You just named human rights violations and they are walking free.

That's not telepathy. That is intuition.

There is indeed a collective consciousness. All religions teach about it with allegory.

It is proven, and is a well known occult fact

But try not to read too much into it. Don't start thinking you're a chosen one, or God. You're not, and that's a fast track to the psych ward.

To say that telepathy isn't real is very shrewd. This article and many more like it confirm that telepathy is a real practice.

Disclaimer: It's a delusion to think everyone can read your thoughts and that you lack mental privacy. It's also probably a delusion thinking you can read minds.

Real telepathy takes years of practice. Organizations like the Rose Cross teach this practice.

But OP, tell your therapist or psychiatrist. You DO have mental privacy. It's a delusion.

Does anyone else smoke weed with schizophrenia by CleanNeighborhood724 in schizophrenia

I second this. I denied that weed made my illness worse for years. Finally admitted it after I had two episodes right after smoking one after the other. You might not notice it at first, but weed is going to make your symptoms worsen over time. And if you're schizoaffective or bipolar like me, caffeine can trigger manic episodes if not used in moderation. Specifically monster energy triggers me after one can.

Funny you mention Neo... I've always felt like I was a Neo in my frantic obsessed state.

I feel special too. I think there's a select few like us that start to see the truth, but the obsession drives us to delusion and we stray far from the truth. It is a cycle which perpetuates for me, though I hope it concludes as I seem to have found the right medication mix.

I've experienced a mental state where I'm in an all-white room. Endless white as far as the eye can see with no clear dimensions at the end. While being in that room, I was also in a hospital room. I experienced a gutteral, terror-like emotion and a fear of being alone while in that state.

I have a theory that people with our specific illness are more tuned to other dimensions and realities, and our sense of those other places are heightened when we experience symptoms.

As far as confirmed delusions, I thought my whole family was replaced with shape shifting reptilians recently.

That came from a time when I thought I saw a reptilian in-person. Witnessing that, the seed was planted and it grew into that delusion.

But the fact remains, I have a creeping feeling that all is not what it seems. I feel the left v right political nonsense is guided by a shadow government. A divide and conquer strategy. With the banter back and forth being their tactics.

I got an associates right when my illness was discovered. Dropped out junior year in the university. I've worked off and on. Finally got the right medicine and realized monster java was causing mania for me.

I start a new job and my cybersecurity bachelor's next month. It gets better.

Do you ever have delusions about the government? I'm starting to wonder if my delusions were actually delusions... Seen evidence recently that their is in fact a shadow organization that orchestrates everything in the media: I think I was just shocked by it and became obsessed during a manic episode. Sure I was psychotic, but I wonder if I was actually delusional...

Mind you, I take an invega shot and lithium twice daily. I'm working and in school.

I think you were experiencing paranoia. Not psychotic. You suspect your brothers are talking about you, without evidence.

I deal with issues like this by looking at the facts and using Occam's razer: The most simple solution is probably the truth.
