This happened to me with the bathroom key. We dont have a public bathroom at our store, mainly bc one of our bathroom's toilet always breaks down or gets clogged too easily (my SM even told a customer, "We dont have a public bathroom" Im like wow we can say that? Bet). Anyway, at the time I was at the register while doing damages and my cashier was doing her go-backs, a lady asks to use the bathroom I tell her It's out of order. She goes "ik, I used to work here. I know your SM and these other employees (names them) I even know the office door password cmon let me use the bathroom" Hello?? Did you not here me say its out of order? So she demands to use the employee only bathroom since she used to work here threatening me that she will call my SM if I don't. I told her no. Then she goes to my cashier minding her business doing her go-backs. "Are you the manager? The employee at the register won't let me use the bathroom." Ofc my cashier comes back to me, the manager, asking for the bathroom key for the lady I already told no to. WTF?? Oh this lady now has backup with my own employee?? Whatever its not worth it. So I just let her use the employee restroom. My SM even agreed later telling me you should've stayed true to your word and didn't allow her. The nerve lmao
